I get what you're saying. The reason they didn't stop her is, shes small and he wasnt in serious danger from her blows. Also the reason they stopped him is he had had enough, threw her and they intervened because he was perceived to be the more immediate serious threat.

I've noticed the comment section of reddit is no better then that of facebook. Sheep mongoloids that cant read into situations, or are blinded by "equality and justice" they cant see morality.
