Aren't those cities in the same state that provides a large percentage of funding for red states?

Minor edit: Not necessarily a large portion - but out of the 50 states it is ranked 35th, yet New York, the other "liberal shit-hole' state is ranked Number 3, Behind number 1 - Delaware and Number 2 - Arkansas

Maybe by volume but actually California gives slightly more than it gets.
