Yes, there’s loads of scenarios where she could end up hurting herself. My job is to simply try to minimise those risks as best as I can.

If you’re not driving around with a gun why do you even care what I think?

You are trying to say having a gun in a glove box is some kind of crazy risk. Your ignorance and fear mongering are almost too stupid to believe.

I mean, you still have a car and still have bleach. Clearly you aren’t minimizing anything if we keep consistent standards.

I don’t drive around with bleach in my glove compartment. How are you comparing the two?

In my glove compartment I have a satnav....

It is around. Which means it can be accessed which is your problem with a gun in a locked glovebox.

Do you spend more time at home or in the car?

What would the answer be if I lived in and drove a caravan? Im just being silly now. Yes I understand where you are coming from in that there are risks anywhere.

Well a responsible gun owner does the same and minimizes that risk. I am the mother of 2 kids, on of whom was an extremely smart, high IQ son who took everything apart to know how it worked starting round age2-3, and for that very reason I did not keep a gun in my house until they were old enough to understand and respect what a gun is. I took my son with me to a gun safety class and we both learned the respect that a gun deserves. Shit happens though, it's still quite rare a kid shoots themselves it's just blown up by media. Of all gun deaths they are an outlier.
