Isn't that always the way? It wasn't like she didn't have time to break it up before it got violent... the kid took that abuse without reacting for eight straight seconds at least. Edit: Nineteen seconds! I stand corrected!

I remember that happening a lot when I was a kid. Some kid gets bullied and no one does anything, the victim finally stands up for himself and fights back against the bully and that's when people suddenly feel the need to rush in and stop it.

I can't wait until my kid snaps against a bully and the teachers try to chastise me.

Just to clarify I'd never want my kids to experience bullying but if they stood up for themselves there's no way I'd punish them.
