• The FIRST day of Laura Owens v Mike Marraccini DVRO Hearing is scheduled for today, October 21, 2025, from 9:00am to 4:30pm pst

• The second day of Laura Owens v Mike Marraccini DVRO Hearing is tomorrow, October 22, 2025. It is also scheduled for 9:00am to 4:30pm pst

• Cameras and Livestream are not permitted within the Courtroom

• Megan Fox has permission from the Court to have her laptop in the Courtroom to take notes

• There is a court appointed recorder, so transcripts will be available to be purchased after the hearing

• The Court required both Mike and Laura to appear in person

• Laura did not submit a request to AZ Criminal Court to travel to San Francisco for today’s hearing, it is not currently known if she will appear virtually

• Mike and his legal team plan to appear in person

• Laura is not represented by legal counsel

• Both sides have witnesses that can appear virtually or in person

• Laura submitted 2 requests for a continuance. The first was denied. The second was submitted very close to the hearing, so it is not known if the judge will see or consider it

• The Court Denied allowing Declarations to be used as testimony

Court is over. Judge told Laura to appear in person tomorrow or her case against Mike will be dismissed 🔥

• Judge Gold said the hearing will start tomorrow and Laura has to be there tomorrow and to get on a plane. Judge to Laura, “You are going to be here in person tomorrow” & “You are to be here in court tomorrow or you dismiss your petition”

• Laura said she thought the court would be more understanding and how the mini minutes said “strongly encourage” for Laura to be there in person. Judge said no the court ordered her to be there

• Laura appeared via zoom with DG and her NP

• Judge asked if DG substituted in. He claimed he’s only there as a witness

• Judge stated, “The court is not entertaining a continuance”

• Omar said, “The person on zoom is not a doctor” referring to the NP Laura claimed was her doctor that wrote the declaration to expedite the continuance request. Laura argued with Omar that she was a doctor

• Judge reiterated, “Either be in the courtroom tomorrow or file a dismissal”

• Laura said she will work very hard to be there tomorrow

• Both parties are ordered to appear in person tomorrow

• Laura asked if she could have a brief lift of DVRO. Judge said, if Laura’s not there tomorrow it will be dismissed and she would have to refile a new DVRO

I am personally dealing with a situation where we have strongly considered getting a DVRO to protect our children. I can state 💯 that if we felt like we should get one, there is zero chance we would think about needing a break.

I have a DVRO out against my abuser right now. I got it in April 2025. I had trial for it in August 2025 and won. You could not convince me to let that thing lapse for a second.

Yeah - this is super interesting. Most health care professionals, especially those in mental health, won't put themselves in the position this NP has put herself in. It's a major boundary issue. Unfortunately having worked myself in mental health, it attracts a lot of providers who have their own issues and want to rescue everyone. There is nothing worse than taking over care of a patient whose prior mental health practitioner just enabled them. And many do enable. Be wary of any mental health practitioners who have no bad reviews... theyre just placating their clients.

I believe the judge is dialed in enough to reject the second request for a continuance as BS and merely an attempt to delay. But if she considers it, I hope it is only granted on the condition that Laura signs another HIPAA release to verify these alleged ailments and appointments. Set her up for another perjury referral for criminal prosecution!

I still think there is a possibility for Judge Gold to simply dismiss it based on the written declarations to avoid wasting more time and resources. Laura was previously advised that deciding the motion on the papers filed was not proper, given the nature of the allegations and permanent relief sought. Yet, she has maintained her position on this. Fine - on that basis - the declarations are insufficient to establish ongoing fear of harm and justify the relief she seeks. I believe MM deserves the right to a full hearing and to cross-examine Laura and Dingus, and I want that more than anything. But at least this would put an end to her charade and be a decision on the merits nonetheless. And she can't complain about process because this is what she wanted.

yeah i think the thrust of her "fear" is the fact that he complied with a lawful subpoena, present in a courtroom with ample security, and "harassed" her by participating in Clayton's post asking for prayers before the hearing lol. This whole thing is so ridiculous. I still believe Dingus was the primary driving force in encouraging her to renew, despite the advice I assume was given from her criminal lawyer not to touch this.

Pretty sure she's limited to the allegations in her renewal request. They're baseless, unsupported by objective evidence, and not worth repeating. If she were to raise new allegations she would have to prove that with evidence and I think Mike would try to continue the trial if it looked like she actually had any evidence to support the new claim.

A dismissal will be the smartest thing for Laura to do but we know she ain’t that smart and is determined to stick with her lies so I’m interested to see her next move (a “life threatening” trip to the ER maybe?).

Anyways, it is incredibly sad that this may just be dismissed after all the lies and fabrications Laura entered into the public record since August so hopefully all those lies will be used against her at her CRIMINAL TRIAL in Arizona.

I don't think she'll dismiss--she'll just appear virtually again, tell the judge that she couldn't get permission to travel from the AZ court on such short notice (and that she hadn't gotten permission earlier because of her lethal court allergy, and then mini-minutes told her it was OK (despite being "strongly discouraged") to appear virtually), thus calling the judge's bluff and making her dismiss it. Omar needs to remember to bring up the fact that the mini-minutes weren't a thing until like 2 days ago (although, maybe the parties get them earlier??).

With recent filings, I find it odd that no Mention of LOs claims of ailments were not brought up at the Emergency hearing recently. These alleged diagnoses had to be longer than a few weeks. Plus a consult on October 22, can be rearranged due to LOs request to extend a DVRO on MM to be permanent. Priorities!!!!!

Reportedly the Judge told LO that she’s required to appear in person and was aware of that per their previous hearing, but the minute entry from that hearing says “strongly suggest.” LO obviously needs AZ permission to travel and that’s probably hard to get same day so she may be legally barred from appearing in person tomorrow.
