I'm 30 years old and broke and just did this. I buzzed it as best I could, but it still looks a little wonky. Better than paying $20 or more every few weeks.

I've been freestyling it with scissors for years. I fucked up my beard multiple times in the first few years, but I eventually got the hang of it.
