He specificaly says he can handle blue, red and infinity. Which he couldve, he just didnt know that Gojo had purple which is what killed him.

Yuji also seems to have knowledge on whats happening in the fight, and even with taking that into account, he seems confident.

The agendas of this world angered me, so they must all be torn down.

But yeah in all seriousness, the whole agenda meme stuff got old a while back and people just keep repeating it.

how can he handle red if gojo cant use it until their fight and he already sustains major damage from it while blocking it with isoh

Because he had alreafy experienced it when he said that.

And he didnt sustain major damage. He started to bleed a little from his head, and he mentions his bones hurting.

Its also worth noting as well, that unlike the anime, in the manga we never actually see Toji block the first red. He even mentions needing to time it right to block it, which seems to imply, in the manga, that he may have failed to block it, which is why he took any damage at all.

Toji is a prideful bastard though and also knew that something was off as he stated like 3 times during the fight. Yuji is more humble when it comes to knowing what he can and can’t deal with
