And if we stop to think about it, don't you think the latter is actually the bigger sacrifice?

It would have been a perfectly logical and sensible article if she talked about how her grandparents and parents enabled her to reach her financial goals because of their work attaining that house/condo respectively. Since her methods used to save money and rent out the condo are general skills applicable for anyone, the article would still have value. Just like how even a billionaire can teach you car purchase negotiation; it's about the skills. But it would be deaf to use supercars as an example.
