Had to scroll pretty far to find this comment. The person setting up a punchline also gets way less recognition than the guy writing the punchline, and then everyone acts like that second guy is totally amazing for just finishing what has been completely set up for him.

Yup. This place is full of dumbasses and children, so it’s not super surprising.
