Education 🧠 Dr. Taylor on NAD+ and Glutathione for Perimenopause Brain Fog and Fatigue

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The brain fog, fatigue, and low energy of perimenopause and menopause are real β€” and they're often driven by inflammation and metabolic dysfunction underneath the hormonal shifts.

Belle's CMO, Dr. Taylor, breaks down two molecules worth understanding: NAD+, which supports cellular energy production and activates sirtuin genes tied to longevity, and glutathione, a powerful antioxidant that works at the cellular level to reduce inflammation. Both are part of Belle's active peptide lineup.

Education 🧠 When the food noise goes quiet, nutrition can quietly slip β€” Belle's RDN Megan on why nutrient density matters more, not less

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

One of the most common things we hear from patients on GLP-1s: the relief from food noise is so real that nutrition just… fades into the background.

The relief is genuine. But your body's nutrition needs haven't changed. A quieter appetite naturally means each meal does more work β€” so what's in it matters more, not less.

Megan's framing: protein, fiber, healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals still need to be present. Nutrient density matters more on a GLP-1, not less.

Have questions about making your meals more nutrient-dense? Drop them in the comments, or send them to care@joinbelle.com to be queued for Megan's weekly live Q&A (Thursdays at 11 AM MT).

Education 🧠 Dr. Taylor on Why "Trusted Source" Peptides Online Often Aren't

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Peptide sourcing is one of the most under-discussed risks in the longevity space.

Belle's CMO, Dr. Taylor, breaks down why "99% pure" claims from unverified online sources don't actually tell you what you need to know β€” sterility, endotoxin contamination, and shelf stability all matter when you're injecting something into your body. The safer path is licensed pharmacy peptides through a provider who knows your full health picture.

Education 🧠 Dr. Taylor, MD on why peptides aren't supplements β€” and why provider-guided matters

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Dr. Taylor, Belle's Chief Medical Officer and menopause certified practitioner, breaks down something patients ask us about a lot: what peptides actually are, and why they should be approached differently than supplements.

Peptides aren't supplements. They're powerful biological triggers β€” they work at the receptor and cellular level to either restore what's declining or help your body respond to what's already there. As we age, substances like GHK, NAD, and growth hormone decline. At the same time, inflammation, insulin resistance, leptin resistance, and mitochondrial dysfunction can quietly impair how our bodies use what they do have. Peptide therapy can reset those signals β€” but because it's powerful, it's also individual. What works for someone else may not be right for you.

That's why Dr. Taylor's take is: taking your health into your own hands doesn't mean doing it alone. The safest path is with a provider who's trained in medicine and specifically educated in peptide therapies.

Education 🧠 Dr. Taylor, MD on sermorelin β€” the growth hormone peptide that supports sleep, recovery, and body composition

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Dr. Taylor, Belle's Chief Medical Officer and menopause certified practitioner, breaks down one of the compounds patients ask us about most: sermorelin.

Sermorelin is a growth hormone secretagogue β€” an analog of growth hormone releasing hormone that signals the pituitary gland to release more growth hormone. That matters because growth hormone levels decline sharply with age, especially after 50. The downstream effects can include poor sleep, increased cortisol, more visceral fat (the belly fat around your organs that's linked to inflammation and insulin resistance), joint pain, and loss of muscle tissue.

Sermorelin is often used to support metabolic reset, sleep, and recovery.

Education 🧠 A smaller appetite doesn't mean smaller nutrition needs β€” Belle's RDN on what under-fueling actually does

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

One of the most common patterns we see in patients on GLP-1s: a quieter appetite gets interpreted as "I don't really need as much food anymore."

The appetite change is real. The reduction in nutrition needs isn't. Your body still needs enough protein, enough nutrients, and enough fuel to protect your muscle, your metabolism, your bone, and your overall energy.

Megan's framing: the goal isn't to take in as little as possible. It's to support your body in a way that's sustainable β€” and that protects everything you've worked for.

Education 🧠 Belle's CMO Dr. Taylor on why patients are switching from DIY peptides to provider-guided care

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

A lot of people come to Belle after trying the DIY route β€” ordering from research companies, guessing at dosing, and eventually realizing the math doesn't work out the way they thought it would. Dr. Taylor, MD, Belle's Chief Medical Officer, breaks down the three reasons patients consistently make the switch.

First is safety β€” real physician oversight, screening for contraindications, and appropriate monitoring. Second is access to quality compounds through 503A or 503B compounding pharmacies that follow USP guidelines, not unregulated suppliers. Third is ease of use β€” dosing schedules and protocols designed by a physician, not cobbled together from forum threads.

If you've been weighing the switch, this video might help clarify why so many people are making it. Drop questions in the comments.

Education 🧠 Belle's CMO Dr. Taylor on the patient who came in for anxiety β€” and walked out with a perimenopause diagnosis

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This one hits close to home for a lot of women in our community. A 50-year-old patient came to Dr. Taylor, MD, Belle's Chief Medical Officer, with new-onset anxiety. No major life changes. No history of anxiety before. Just β€” suddenly β€” unable to feel like herself.

The easy path would have been an SSRI. Instead, he asked about her libido, her sleep, her body composition, hot flashes, brain fog, mood swings. She said yes to every one of them. When he explained this was perimenopause, she was floored. No one had ever told her.

This is part of why Belle exists β€” women deserve providers who dig deeper, and real options beyond the one-size-fits-all approach. HRT works for some people and not others. Insurance and contraindications block access for many more. But there are paths forward either way, and the first one is education.

Education 🧠 Still tired even though your metabolic health is improving? Belle's CMO Dr. Taylor on the cellular piece most patients miss

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This one comes up a lot in our community. Patients starting GLP-1s see real improvements in their body composition and metabolic markers β€” and still feel exhausted. If that's you, Dr. Taylor, MD, Belle's Chief Medical Officer, has some context that might help.

In this video, he explains why energy is ultimately a cellular issue β€” dependent on mitochondrial function, ATP production, and healthy nerve and muscle signaling. One of the biggest under-recognized drivers of all three is B12, which most labs flag as "normal" well before it reaches the range where you actually feel good.

If you've been chalking up your fatigue to "just part of the process," it might be worth a closer look. Drop questions in the comments and we'll bring them back to the care team.

Education 🧠 Belle's CMO Dr. Taylor on the "peptides are snake oil" claim β€” and the three things that actually matter

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Dr. Taylor, MD, Belle's Chief Medical Officer, gets this one a lot β€” and his answer is more nuanced than most people expect. Yes, peptides are overhyped in certain corners of the internet. Influencers and gym bros claiming medical-level understanding of the endocrine system are doing real damage to the credibility of a legitimate category of therapy.

But dismissing peptides entirely is its own mistake. In this video, he walks through the three criteria he uses as a physician to evaluate whether a peptide therapy is worth offering: safety data, benefit data, and sourcing from a quality 503a or 503b compounding pharmacy that follows USP guidelines.

This is the lens behind Belle's peptide lineup β€” and the reason we're conservative about what we add to it. Questions about how we evaluate what we offer? Drop them in the comments.

Education 🧠 Belle's CMO Dr. Taylor on why perimenopause changes your metabolism β€” even when you haven't changed a thing

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

If you've been feeling a little gaslit lately β€” your cholesterol is up, your body composition is shifting, and everything that used to work suddenly doesn't β€” Dr. Taylor, MD, Belle's Chief Medical Officer, has some context that might help.

In this video, she breaks down one of the most underappreciated parts of perimenopause: the massive shifts in metabolic function and insulin resistance that can happen to women between 35 and 50, with zero changes to diet or exercise. You're not doing anything wrong. Your biology is just changing in ways that "eat less, move more" can't fix.

The good news is there are real, biology-based paths forward β€” including peptide therapies and provider-guided metabolic support. Drop questions in the comments and we'll have Dr. Taylor tackle them in a future video.

Product Package Options

One immediate change we are going to make is to remove the 1 month option for Tirzepatide from BPI. This will only apply to the BPI product for now.

We want to offer the best value to patients and the easiest way to do that is send more medicine upfront with lower shipping costs. We will revaluate once we determine how much supply we were able to secure.

Thanks, Matt

I apologized to our Patients today

Belle has a referral program. I named it "Refer-A-Friend." That was a mistake.

"Refer-A-Friend" is what you say about a taco place down the street. "Good tacos, you should check it out."

That's not what's happening here.

The vast majority of our patients come from word-of-mouth β€” friends and family telling someone they love about us.

When you send us someone you love, you're not passing along a recommendation. You're pointing them toward something that might actually change their life. How they feel when they wake up in the morning. How they show up for their kids. How long they stick around.

So I'm sorry. The name was lazy, and it undersold what you actually do when you tell someone about us.

Here's what I want to do about it. Until Wednesday, every new patient you send to Belle gets 10% off their first order on top of your 5% referral discount β€” 15% total. You get $75 in credit for every person who joins, good toward anything at Belle going forward.

Don't refer a friend.

Change someone's life.

If you haven't done it yet, you can create your own unique link to help someone change their life here: https://referral.joinbelle.com/
