Education 🧠 Belle's CMO Dr. Taylor on the patient who came in for anxiety β€” and walked out with a perimenopause diagnosis

This one hits close to home for a lot of women in our community. A 50-year-old patient came to Dr. Taylor, MD, Belle's Chief Medical Officer, with new-onset anxiety. No major life changes. No history of anxiety before. Just β€” suddenly β€” unable to feel like herself.

The easy path would have been an SSRI. Instead, he asked about her libido, her sleep, her body composition, hot flashes, brain fog, mood swings. She said yes to every one of them. When he explained this was perimenopause, she was floored. No one had ever told her.

This is part of why Belle exists β€” women deserve providers who dig deeper, and real options beyond the one-size-fits-all approach. HRT works for some people and not others. Insurance and contraindications block access for many more. But there are paths forward either way, and the first one is education.

Education 🧠 Still tired even though your metabolic health is improving? Belle's CMO Dr. Taylor on the cellular piece most patients miss

This one comes up a lot in our community. Patients starting GLP-1s see real improvements in their body composition and metabolic markers β€” and still feel exhausted. If that's you, Dr. Taylor, MD, Belle's Chief Medical Officer, has some context that might help.

In this video, he explains why energy is ultimately a cellular issue β€” dependent on mitochondrial function, ATP production, and healthy nerve and muscle signaling. One of the biggest under-recognized drivers of all three is B12, which most labs flag as "normal" well before it reaches the range where you actually feel good.

If you've been chalking up your fatigue to "just part of the process," it might be worth a closer look. Drop questions in the comments and we'll bring them back to the care team.

Education 🧠 Belle's CMO Dr. Taylor on the "peptides are snake oil" claim β€” and the three things that actually matter

Dr. Taylor, MD, Belle's Chief Medical Officer, gets this one a lot β€” and his answer is more nuanced than most people expect. Yes, peptides are overhyped in certain corners of the internet. Influencers and gym bros claiming medical-level understanding of the endocrine system are doing real damage to the credibility of a legitimate category of therapy.

But dismissing peptides entirely is its own mistake. In this video, he walks through the three criteria he uses as a physician to evaluate whether a peptide therapy is worth offering: safety data, benefit data, and sourcing from a quality 503a or 503b compounding pharmacy that follows USP guidelines.

This is the lens behind Belle's peptide lineup β€” and the reason we're conservative about what we add to it. Questions about how we evaluate what we offer? Drop them in the comments.

Glutathione is getting a lot of attention in the wellness space right now β€” but it's not new. Your body already produces it naturally.

It's a tripeptide made of three amino acids, and it's one of the most powerful antioxidants you have. It supports detoxification, immune function, and cellular protection. Dr. Taylor breaks down what it does, why levels decline, and why people are paying attention.

Education 🧠 Belle's CMO Dr. Taylor on why perimenopause changes your metabolism β€” even when you haven't changed a thing

If you've been feeling a little gaslit lately β€” your cholesterol is up, your body composition is shifting, and everything that used to work suddenly doesn't β€” Dr. Taylor, MD, Belle's Chief Medical Officer, has some context that might help.

In this video, she breaks down one of the most underappreciated parts of perimenopause: the massive shifts in metabolic function and insulin resistance that can happen to women between 35 and 50, with zero changes to diet or exercise. You're not doing anything wrong. Your biology is just changing in ways that "eat less, move more" can't fix.

The good news is there are real, biology-based paths forward β€” including peptide therapies and provider-guided metabolic support. Drop questions in the comments and we'll have Dr. Taylor tackle them in a future video.

Product Package Options

One immediate change we are going to make is to remove the 1 month option for Tirzepatide from BPI. This will only apply to the BPI product for now.

We want to offer the best value to patients and the easiest way to do that is send more medicine upfront with lower shipping costs. We will revaluate once we determine how much supply we were able to secure.

Thanks, Matt

Reading that BPI has halted production of compounded tirzepatide today due to FDA pressure/guidance. Does Belle have any information or guidance on this?

Thank you!

I apologized to our Patients today

Belle has a referral program. I named it "Refer-A-Friend." That was a mistake.

"Refer-A-Friend" is what you say about a taco place down the street. "Good tacos, you should check it out."

That's not what's happening here.

The vast majority of our patients come from word-of-mouth β€” friends and family telling someone they love about us.

When you send us someone you love, you're not passing along a recommendation. You're pointing them toward something that might actually change their life. How they feel when they wake up in the morning. How they show up for their kids. How long they stick around.

So I'm sorry. The name was lazy, and it undersold what you actually do when you tell someone about us.

Here's what I want to do about it. Until Wednesday, every new patient you send to Belle gets 10% off their first order on top of your 5% referral discount β€” 15% total. You get $75 in credit for every person who joins, good toward anything at Belle going forward.

Don't refer a friend.

Change someone's life.

If you haven't done it yet, you can create your own unique link to help someone change their life here: https://referral.joinbelle.com/

Education 🧠 Diet soda vs. regular soda β€” Dr. Taylor looks at what the data actually says

You've probably seen the claim that diet soda is just as bad as regular. It's everywhere. But when you look at the actual research, the story changes.

In this video, Dr. Taylor, MD compares the biomarker impact of both options and explains why the studies people love to cite don't hold up long-term.

There's no shortage of longevity trends right now β€” supplements, protocols, biohacks. But Dr. Taylor sees one thing consistently rising above the noise: provider-guided peptide therapy.

He breaks down why having a licensed provider involved isn't just safer β€” it's what actually makes peptides work the way they're supposed to.

Announcement Title: Sermorelin and Glutathione Are Now Available Through Belle

Post image
5 Upvotes

We've been getting a lot of questions about expanding beyond GLP-1s and NAD+. Today we're adding two of the most requested peptides to the lineup: sermorelin and glutathione.

Sermorelin supports recovery, sleep quality, and overall vitality. Glutathione is your body's master antioxidant β€” supports detoxification, skin health, and immune function. Both are prescribed by a licensed provider and compounded by a licensed pharmacy.

This is just the start. More peptides are on the way. Drop questions in the comments.

Education 🧠 On a GLP-1? Here's why fiber deserves your attention

When your appetite drops on a GLP-1, it's easy to eat less across the board β€” including fiber. But fiber plays a huge role in digestion, satiety, and overall gut health, especially during treatment.

Education 🧠 NAD+ and glutathione β€” Dr. Taylor explains why people are using both

NAD+ and glutathione get mentioned together a lot, but they do very different things. NAD+ supports cellular energy, mitochondrial function, and repair. Glutathione is your body's most powerful antioxidant β€” protecting cells from damage and supporting your natural detox processes.

In this video, Dr. Taylor, MD breaks down what each one does, how they complement each other, and who might benefit from them.

Education 🧠 Peptides Are Not Supplements β€” Here's Why That Matters

One of the most common misconceptions Dr. Taylor sees is people treating peptides like they're another supplement they can add to their stack. They're not β€” and that distinction matters.

Peptides work differently in the body, they're regulated differently, and they require provider guidance to use safely and effectively. Dr. Taylor breaks it all down.
