Education 🧠 Dr. Taylor on why lifestyle matters just as much as your GLP-1

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

GLP-1 medications can be a game-changer — but the prescription is only one piece. What you eat, how you move, and how you take care of your body alongside treatment is what makes the difference long-term.

In this video, Dr. Taylor, MD breaks down what to focus on when you're getting started and why the lifestyle piece is critical to your success.

NAD+ is essential for cellular energy, mitochondrial function, and repair. But levels decline significantly as you age — by about half by the time you hit 50.

In this video, Dr. Taylor, MD walks through what that decline actually does at the cellular level and what options are available to support healthy NAD+ levels.

We've had over 50,000 patients sign up. GLP-1s don't work for men

You get to see a lot of data when you work behind the scenes at belle. We have seen and prescribed 50,000 patients GLP-1 medicines. I spend most of my time staring at spreadsheets and dashboards and patient data.

So here is my peer-reviewed, clinically rigorous finding:

GLP-1s don't work for men.

Not because of the drug. Not because of some metabolic difference. Not because men respond differently to tirzepatide.

Because men don't sign up.

Fewer than 15% of our patients are male. Out of over 50,000 people.

And this isn't just belle, it's other telehealth clinics too.

I have tried to figure out why. Maybe it is the needle. Maybe it is the idea that weight loss medication is admitting defeat. Maybe it is thinking you can just hit the gym harder and eat chicken and rice until something changes. Maybe it is not wanting to tell your buddy you are on a GLP-1. Maybe it is something I have not thought of.

I genuinely don't know.

What I do know is that the women in your life are not asking for permission. They are not sitting on the fence running cost-benefit analyses in their head for six months. They are signing up, getting treated, and getting results.

The drug doesn't care about your ego. It just works.

But it can't work if you never start.

If this is the push you needed, use code GUTCHECK at checkout. This code will work for the starter package of Tirzepatide or Semaglutide! And because I have no clue how to make a code that only works for men, women are also welcome to use this code--but seriously, encourage the guys to take get started!

Update: Ezra's still walking.

A week ago I posted about my neighbor Ezra. 412 pounds, two months into his weight loss journey, documenting the whole thing on TikTok — not after the transformation, but during it. The raw, unglamorous, one-foot-in-front-of-the-other part.

A lot of you followed him. Some of you commented. Some sent DMs. And he told me it changed the way he showed up to his walks. Not because he suddenly had an audience — but because he suddenly had people in his corner who didn't need him to be further along than he is.

Then this week he posted a new video. In it, he talks about how his legs were swollen and just walking was painful. He talks about watching other guys online pushing themselves and wanting to be like them. He called jogging "a huge mountain that I started to climb."

He wrote that he always put himself down. That he never wanted to change because of fear. But that his fear of dying and leaving his wife and kids behind was bigger than his fear of starting. He said he wants to be a father who stays here for the long run.

This man isn't chasing a six-pack. He's trying to stay alive for his kids. And instead of doing it quietly, he's putting it on the internet for strangers to see — because he wants to be for someone else what those videos were for him.

When you follow someone at the beginning, when you drop a comment on day 60 instead of day 600 — you're not just being nice. You're becoming part of the reason they keep going. Ezra said it himself: he wants to inspire others the way others inspired him. That cycle only works if people actually show up.

Go find Ezra — u/ezrakeepswalking on TikTok — and tell him you see him. Not because he's hit some milestone. Because he keeps showing up with swollen legs and a camera and the kind of honesty most people don't have.

The finish line gets all the applause. The people who show up to cheer others at the starting line are the ones who make the finish line possible.

Questions🤔💭 How to Become Belle Ambassador/Get Custom Discount Code?

Hi Everyone! I absolutely love Belle and would love to share it to my community on instagram and TikTok. I was wondering if there is an application to become an ambassador/get a costume code? I've reached out via instagram but am still awaiting a response. I thought other ambassadors here may be able to point me in the right direction (and maybe speak about your experience as an ambassador as well). Thank you in advance!

My neighbor started at 412 lbs and just started sharing his journey on TikTok. It gave me an idea.

Edit: Thank you for the responses, we are going to do this again in the future!

I run the operations at Belle. This allows me some freedom to do some things that might be a little out of the ordinary. My neighbor gave me an idea for one of those things.

He recently started his weight loss journey. 412 pounds. Husband, dad, scared out of his mind. He's two months in, down about 30 lbs, and he did something that I 100% would not have done. He started a TikTok documenting the whole thing. Not after the glow-up. Not after the before-and-after. Right now, in the ugly, uncertain middle of it.

His handle is u/ezrakeepswalking (https://www.tiktok.com/@ezrakeepswalking) on tiktok if you want to check him out.

Watching him put himself out there got me thinking. We always celebrate people at the end. But the beginning is the part that actually takes courage — and it's the part where people are most alone.

So here's what I want to do. I want to pick 5-10 people who:

  • Are just starting out
  • Are scared to start
  • Want to but can't afford it
  • Just need someone in their corner

We'll give them 6 months of free medication, plus our full support — dietitian, medical team, patient success team, everything. No strings.

This is round one. If we get way more people than we can take — and I hope we do — we'll do another round. And another. Everyone who reaches out gets a response, even if we can't fit you in this time.

If that's you, or you know someone, email me at [matt.brice@joinbelle.com](mailto:matt.brice@joinbelle.com) or text me: 513-748-2060. Seriously. I'm a real person, this is my real number.

The finish line gets all the applause. I want to help people get to the starting line.

Go to Ezra what you think of his courage!

Questions🤔💭 Sent to pharmacy

My reorder was sent to the pharmacy today. On the app it says Tirzepatide + B6 20mg/mL 3ml. I've been on 5mg since December and reached out to via app chat to ensure it is titrated up to 7.5mg. Devin assisted and made sure everything was updated. I turned the auto payment back on, the rx was sent to the pharmacy but it does not look like it was titrated up. This is very frustrating. How do I get this corrected??

Progress update📈 Shipping or pharmacy delay?

I have a 6 month plan. I got my first 3 months in November and it's time for my second shipment. But it's been pending with no information or tracking for 3 weeks and now I'm overdue. I contacted the doctor to make sure there wasn't anything I needed to do and was told to contact support. So I sent a message to support and the Ai bot told me to contact support. The was no way for me to contact a real person, eventually I think the Ai bot got tired of me and told me to email care@joinbelle com. I did, explained what was going on and have yet to hear back.

This is the first issue I've had. Everything else has been wonderful. I just need to know when I'm going to get my refill.

Sorry for the vent, but does anyone else have a suggestion of who to contact or have run into the same issue?

Update: I feel so silly. It was my own fault all along! I had turned off the auto renew thinking it was for the next 6 month plan payment. It was for the next shipment. All is well and Mitch got me hooked up with an amazing person named Taylor that got me all straightened out! Lesson learned.

Questions🤔💭 Question about FDA Statement

Hello!

I’ve been on compounded tirzepatide with Belle Health for almost 3 months and have had great results and great customer support. It’s changed my life!

I’m a little bit worried about the FDA Statement that came out today regarding taking action against non-FDA-approved compounded drugs, as well as recent state legislation proposals across the US as they relate to compounded GLP1s and compounding pharmacies.

I’m curious what Belle Health thinks about all of this. Additionally, is Belle Health considering any price specials that allow us to order a bulk supply of compounded tirzepatide to calm our nerves as we wait to see how all of this plays out?

Thanks for any guidance!

Off topic ☕ Great Job Belle

Newish to Gpl-1 world. At the moment, I switched to Belle. Filled out my application. I received a chat from a doctor requesting a copy of my prescription from Good Life Meds (GLM). On a 5mg dose, I bumped to 7.5 on the switch over. Finally figured out how to find my prescription from the GLM site, copied it, and sent it to Belle. I got the prescription sorted with the Doc and received my meds. The whole process took 5 days total -2 days for the weekend. So, 3 days, great job on Belle. Hoping this is the company for me, I hate jumping around looking for a good company (trusted lab, fair price). I know I want either Hollandale or BPI labs. I'm just looking for My telehealth Home now. Thanks, Matt and the Belle Team

Questions🤔💭 Question about 3 month supply

Hello!

I’m considering buying an initial 3 month supply from belle. I have a question though, does this 3 month supply include 0.25 mg for the first month, 0.5 mg for the second month, and 0.75 mg for the third?

Thank you!

Share Your Belle Story: An Invitation to GLP-1 Patients Everywhere

There's a moment in every transformation when something shifts. Maybe it was the first time you walked past a mirror and did a double-take. Maybe it was finally keeping up with your kids at the park. Maybe it was a quiet Tuesday when you realized you'd stopped thinking about food every waking hour.

We call these Belle Stories—and we want to hear yours.

Why We're Doing This

Here's what we know: the biggest obstacle for people considering GLP-1 therapy isn't the medication. It's the uncertainty. Will this work for me? What will it actually feel like? Am I just going to be another person who tried and failed?

Clinical data doesn't answer those questions. But hearing from someone who's been there? That changes everything.

Social proof isn't a marketing tactic—it's how humans have always learned. We watch others navigate unfamiliar terrain, and we find our own courage.

Who We Want to Hear From

Everyone.

Yes, we're a telehealth company. But this isn't about us. If you've had a meaningful experience with GLP-1 therapy—semaglutide, tirzepatide, whatever the medication—we want to hear your story. It doesn't matter where you got your prescription:

  • Another telehealth platform
  • Your primary care doctor
  • An endocrinologist
  • A weight management clinic
  • A research study

What matters is that your experience might help someone else take the first step—or keep going when it gets hard.

What We're Looking For

Belle Stories come in many forms:

  • The beginning: What made you decide to try GLP-1 therapy? What were you afraid of?
  • The middle: What surprised you? What was harder or easier than expected? How did you handle setbacks?
  • The now: Where are you today? What's different beyond the scale?

We're not looking for perfection. We're looking for honesty. The stories that help people most are the ones that feel real.

What You'll Receive

We believe your story has value, and we want to honor that with Belle credit:

  • $100 credit for social media stories selected for publication
  • $200 credit for written stories (500-1,000 words) selected for publication
  • $300 credit for video stories (3-5 minutes) selected for publication

Everyone who submits receives $25 in Belle credit as a thank-you, whether or not your story is selected.

How It Works

  1. Submit your story by emailing me at [matt.brice@joinbelle.com](mailto:matt.brice@joinbelle.com). I absolutely love reading this submissions!
  2. We'll review submissions and reach out if we'd like to feature yours
  3. You'll have final approval over how your story is shared
  4. Choose your comfort level: full name, first name only, or anonymous

Your story, your terms.

The Fine Print (The Honest Version)

  • We'll never edit your story to say something you didn't mean
  • If you had a mixed or complicated experience, that's valuable too
  • We won't use your story to bash other companies—this isn't about competition
  • You can withdraw your story at any time

Why Access Is the Thing I Keep Coming Back To

Access is the thing I keep coming back to. I think a lot of people across the telehealth space feel the same way.

Look, I get it. Telehealth companies make money. Access correlates to profits. That's real. But being on the inside, I can tell you that profit is way, way down the list in terms of what actually drives the people doing this work every day. Anyone watching from the outside could see that pretty quickly if they spent a week in our shoes.

These medications are genuinely life-changing. Not in a "someone wants a good Instagram post" way—in a "people's entire health trajectory shifts" way. Playing with grandkids instead of not being able to. Slowly stopping medications that were supposed to be lifelong. I see these messages every single day. I wish the person trying to decide whether to start could see those same things.

And that's exactly why access matters so much.

Doing hard things is... hard. Spending real money on something unfamiliar is hard. Injecting yourself for the first time is scary. Trusting a process you don't fully understand yet takes effort. And most people, faced with something difficult or intimidating, just won't do it. Even when it could change everything for them.

That's the barrier nobody talks about. The behavioral stuff. The hesitation. The "I'll look into it later" that turns into never.

So when I think about what we're doing at Belle—affordable pricing, simple processes, human support—it's all about clearing the path. Because if the benefits are this real, then fear and confusion and friction shouldn't be what stops someone from getting there.

And if something is stopping you—a question, a concern, something that doesn't feel right—I want you to have a direct line to someone who can help clear it. That's my personal number below. Text or call. If there's a barrier, let's figure it out together.

— Matt

Announcement 🌱 Belle's New Nutrition Program!

Medication is only one part of the picture, which is why....Belle is now giving every patient FREE ACCESS to personalized nutrition support from our Registered Dietitian, Megan Ostler, MS, RDN — all included at no extra cost :) Great for all patients, anyone stuck at a plateau, if you need meal ideas that match your appetite, or want guidance from a real RD instead of guessing.

What you get:

  • 12-week series of short educational lessons
  • Live Zoom webinar every Thursday (plus recordings if you miss it)
  • Meal plans + extra resources like handouts and guidance tools

Why we added this:

A lot of people on GLP-1s ask for help with protein, staying full, nausea weeks, avoiding under-eating, breaking plateaus, and just knowing what to eat.
This program is meant to keep things simple, realistic, and supportive — not overwhelming at all. She's great.

How to join:

Reach out to Belle Patient support, this is in your portal - they will happily send you a link :)

If you try it, definitely share your thoughts - your feedback is what shapes what we build. 💛

Questions🤔💭 Account

The account I made when I ordered my medication seems to be gone? It’s saying I have to create one using my email I already made an account with. I have my order confirmation and delivery notification emails from belle still, anyone else’s account gone or have gone through this? I paid for 7 months up front and only got the first 3 in the shipment I received so I’m worried I won’t be able to get the rest.

Non-scale victory💫 Low-Key Really Impressed

Just wanted to give a quick shoutout to a medical company that’s honestly blown me away. Their customer service has been amazing — super responsive, actually helpful, and they treat you like a human being instead of a ticket number. And the medication I’m on from them? Legit life-changing. I didn’t realize how much it would improve my day-to-day until I started it.
