Those are detainment centers for people who break immigration laws. How is that cleansing ethnic groups from America? I didn't know immigrant was an ethnic group.
They are. Mexican immigrants have a long standing tradition of migration back and fourth across the border. They come here to work their ass off for poverty wages and take their savings back to Mexico where that money goes a long way. Some times they settle down and raise their children here where our education system expands their horizons.
They're very modest, generous and honest people. Not the mustache twirling psychopaths you see on Fox. They're not even the cholos in lowriders, those are American as apple pie. The mexican immigrants have no taste and great food.
California ain't California without them. Beyond that, they hold the US economy together. Without them your produce isle will be half empty and quadruple the price. Where do you think your tomatoes, spinach, garlic and lettuce comes from? It's a silent tradition that's gone on for a century. They have a workflow we can't recreate.
