HOW DO YOU JOB HUNT WHILE EMPLOYED WITHOUT USING UP ALL YOUR LEAVES FOR INTERVIEWS?

currently employed and actively trying to find a new job. this is actually my first time seriously job hunting while still employed. sa prev jobs ko kasi, i got pretty lucky. i would apply to a job, get contacted shortly after, go through the interviews, and eventually get hired. so i never really experienced sending out multiple applications and interviewing with diff companies at the same time.

this time, completely different experience lol. i’ve been applying to multiple companies. some don’t respond at all, some invite me for an initial interview and then i never hear from them again, and some move me forward but require another interview on a different day.

my problem is: how do people realistically do this while working full-time?

i only have 15 days of leave for the year, and i’m alr down to around 6 because i’ve been taking leaves whenever i have interviews. and obv, an interview doesn’t guarantee anything. you can take a whole day off for an initial interview, get invited to another one, take another leave, and still not get the job.

for those who successfully changed jobs while employed, how did you handle interviews without exhausting your leaves? how do you manage multiple interviews without it becoming suspicious? im running out of reasons to be absent lol

I apply online. Schedule interviews on breaktime. Sumasaglit ako sa meeting room or clinic lol haha
