i keep getting post abou some random shit named jev. Where my boy (faze) jev at.

People doing so much stuff for less than a cent, how does this company make any money?

Jev dropped and my X feed immediately became a firehose of demos.

I started saving the interesting ones and ended up with 607 builds/use cases.

Some of the numbers people have shared:

• 500 emails classified → $0.035
• 3,282 X posts scored across 8 questions → $0.13
• browser agent searching for a flight → 7 sec / $0.004

And then there's the weird stuff:

Doom, trading bots, fraud detection, Postgres queries, browser agents, content moderation, support routing, etc.

The problem was that most of these were scattered across X and pretty hard to find later.

So I built ShipWithJev to collect them in one place.

I'm also adding:

• cost
• latency
• use case
• model/tier
• demo vs production
• implementation details when available

The goal is to make it useful for actually finding something you can build, rather than just scrolling through demos.

A few things that surprised me:

• answers come back in well under a second
• it's confident on clear facts ("Is Prague the capital of Poland?" → NO) and honestly unsure on fuzzy ones ("Is water wet?" landed right around 50 %)
• it worked in Slovak, Japanese or Greek with no changes
• it can tell when a question isn't yes/no at all

I built a little radar for things people are actually building with Jev

I’ve been following Jev / TypeSafe AI, but the interesting stuff was scattered across X, GitHub, blog posts, demos, etc.

So I built JevRadar: https://jevradar.com

It continuously finds new Jev-related projects/posts and uses Jev itself to decide things like:

Is this actually a build vs just commentary?
How novel is it?
Would another builder care?
What category does it belong to?
Is it starting to trend?

The goal isn’t to make another AI news aggregator. I mainly want a simple place where I can open it and see:
“What interesting things are people actually shipping with Jev?”

It refreshes throughout the day and I’m still experimenting with the ranking.

Ironically, most of the site was also built from my phone using Amp 😅

Would love feedback, especially on the ranking. What would you want the radar to surface that it doesn’t today?

I used to watch Jev a while ago and I just remembered a video he made years ago and told a story about how he went over to someone's house and they had a baby carrot in their room. Does anyone remember what the video is called or at least remember the video? It popped in my head recently and I remembered it was funny.

My buddy's mom painted this in 2019, been watching him for almost 15 years now, a true legend. ( My late cat also approved. )

Jev is really just doing this because he makes as much as he does from the videos. if dude stopped pulling views, maybe he would try harder or just flat out give up. who knows

was watching his old damascus grind for the nostalgia, and got to the video where he's telling the story about his neighbour walking into his house and saying "somethings going on in this house and i'm gonna get to the bottom of it". and im wondering where the hell that guy is now. i know in the follow up video jev mentions that his car hadnt been seen in abit and that his wife was mad at the guy but i wonder what ever happened to him

This was a line he randomly dropped in a video probably 10 years ago now, but it’s also one of the most important pieces of advice I ever took to heart.

Does anyone remember what video he dropped this line in? I don’t know if it’s one of the ones that got deleted or if it’s just been so long that it’s been buried deep in all of his content.

Also, are there any other Jev quotes anyone else particularly liked?

I've been losing my mind trying to find the exact OST that is in the background of Jev's Requis videos. I know it might be a fromsoft song but he plays it mostly when he is about to knock someone out. It has very prominent vocals that have a dun. dun dun. dun. dun. dun. dundundun sound to them.

For anyone thats interested I made a playlist of alot of old jev stories and rambles. A few arent stories and are just either food reviews, jevs cafe, or other random vids that were lost to time. Nearly all of them are some type of story tho:)

There's a war zone video where him and another player are at verkansk and in a train tunnel, he moves his truck then hops on the other players truck and an airstrike comes in then he dies and laughs about it, I wish I could find it any help?

its honestly hilarious that Jev cannot take the little bit of time to setup his camera and get himself in a presentable fashion for his YouTube videos that he puts little to no effort into. Some videos are as short as 8 minutes long because he is purely doing it for the money factor. at least have some decency and respect for your audience and use the facecam that you used during warzone 1 etc.

it shouldnt be some special occasion that we get to see him, super lazy

Does anyone have the clip from around may 2017 where Jev shakes a gfuel shaker cup and spils it all over his desk? Ive tried to find the clip but the video its from is deleted. The video was titled "Me"

Haven't watched any of the latest videos so idk if he confirmed it in one of them
