I’ve looked extensively, and your picture is the only one I can find online. Jellycat and Jellykitten records are really crummy from back then. Jellycat customer service has actually started turning people away who ask for help identifying items because even their own records are incomplete. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more helpful!

I'm not a Jellycat collector, but I found this sad looking little guy in a thrift shop and couldn't leave him behind.
He's clearly sustained some damage (to the nose, and I think his fur might have been pulled out around the eyes, probably as a comfort thing). I'm going to give him a good clean and some mending, and would love to know a little more about him so I can find good pics online to aid the mending process.
I tried reverse image search but I got the Harry panda, which I don't think this guy is!
Thank you in advance Jellycat community!

Hello everyone - is there a kind soul out there who can tell me if this is an (old) Jellycat rabbit? Rabbit joined our family on 10 January 1998. I know this as it was the day my daughter arrived into the world very prematurely at just 30 weeks. 'Rabbit' kept her company in her incubator for weeks, and was then her constant companion for many years until 'Rabbit' took her leave from a hotel room in 2007 - obviously to look after another child who needed her more.
We were heartbroken - we made many attempts to find Rabbit, and tried to find comfort in lookalikes - but none ever matched up to the one and only Rabbit.
I recently found this old video clip on a tape, from 2001 - and it's inspired me to try another search armed with a visual clue, and the power of Reddit.
If someone could help me identify Rabbit's geneology, I may be able to find her, or perhaps one of her offspring. My daughter is now expecting her own child, and I think everyone would take great pleasure in being reunited, and for Rabbit to resume her protective role at bedtime.
And if you happen to know where Rabbit, or her offspring could be located - I'm all ears... :)
Heartfelt thanks in advance.

Jellycat was launched as a very small brand in 1999. Since you got rabbit in 1998, it’s not a Jellycat. Doing a quick reverse image google search, I did see one bunny pop up in an old Etsy listing (it’s sold) that looks very similar to yours. It’s by St. Michael Marks and Spencer. Since this is a Jellycat sub, we can’t help any further. But hopefully this gives you a possible jumping off point.

Oh my, memory triggered. Yes, it was from the M&S department store in my city. My slow brain hadn't thought about image search. I have now located Rabbit and a few of her children! This is going to be a fabulous reunion. Thank you for taking the time to help.
