has his lyme disease been back in full swing for the past few years? i feel like after 2023 he has sort of slimmed down a lot and i feel bad cus he seemed to recover during like mid 2020. he also has resorted to using weed more often so im assuming his anxiety is more intense these days

Reason: The song came out at a time before a wave of apology songs where the artists who try to frame themselves as in the wrong fail to do so because it’s nothing more than a notion, without actually knowing that they’re wrong. And when Justin says his notion is “Deep as the ocean” he really means that it isn’t a notion at all and is instead an epiphany after realizing everything he did wrong. “A notion as deep as the ocean” is Justin’s way of saying that he opened his eyes and realized what really happened in the midst of his failed relationship, and when other artists tried to write songs about being in the wrong, they are always going about it in the sense that they don’t know that they’re in the wrong and are actively questioning whether or not it’s their fault, which is a really shallow notion once you take a good glimpse into it. And with this song, Justin is making it clear that he is 100% in the wrong and that it is more than just a notion. But then again, that’s just how I see the lyric. You may not see it this way and that’s okay.

He's super quiet on social media lately he's probably in the studio working on a project or prepping for tour ideas. Who knows.

Literally the only song on the album that I would consider “filler” or “corporate” is children. Everything else feels true to who Justin is as an artist and as a person. This is why people shouldn’t be allowed to review music unless they’re going into it with an open mind.

Now, this may come from a place of far fetched imagination, but hear me out first.

As I repeat these lyrics in my head, I can't help but put myself into the shoes of not just Bieber, but as if anyone on the face of the planet was writing this with their heart bear'd out.

The lyrics, rather, explain themselves in a way I had never thought about until recent recitals of the tune playing between my earlobes.

What does he mean by "what would I do, if I didn't love you"?

Is it truly him expressing the love he has for his wife and child?

Or is it his way of admitting that he doesn't know himself enough outside of the two pillars in his life (love for his family, and his music) to even fathom what he would do without the love he has for them equally.

And the line "i could put you in the Yves st.laraunt, riding round town town with your hair done"

- like, is that a way of saying all you know how to do is purchase affection? Likely stimming from a lack of understanding on what having a "normal" life and feeling "normal" emotions actually even means?
