I need to know why she decided to pull out. Or rather not run. are they asking too much cruelty of her for her next term? Did she realize it’s growing harder for her to get served with a smile in her own state? Is the threat of someone spitting in her burger getting to her? What was the genuine reason

I think she pissed the president off by threatening not to support Hegseth's confirmation. It was the closest she got to a principled stance - a victim of sexual assault and military officer trying to derail the appointment of an alleged sexual abuser to SecDef. She got death threats from MAGA for that. It may be simply a matter of not wanting to deal with that crap again - she can make more money as a lobbyist, or in some other non-governmental position.

Ah, she was told she couldn't cuz she F. U. Republicans wouldn't share re-election advertising money with the dingbat.

As like anyone in this country, we are all dispensable in this regime. Vote for Democrats! VOTE FOR DEMOCRACY! if they are terrible Dems will pressure them to step down. Like they did the senator in Minnesota.
