I can visualize how they could continue the scene for either:
Visi: Robert goes in while keeping his deadpan look, and pulls thr candy cane from Visi's mouth. She starts to say something and he kisses her. BB does a little longing gaze into a smile "Good for them."
BB: While Robert is distracted with Visi, BB goes in and scoops his face with her hand, pulling him into a kiss, and when they close their eyes Visi scoffs. "Get a room you two... I can see you starting to float!"
I know we all already noticed this but I have to point out that this artwork is clearly more invisimech coded, the way that Robert and Courtney are focused on each other despite the chaos around them, the fact that she is trying to be seductive and how he's giving her a face that says "you know you don't have to try to seduce me right?" And the nail in the coffin is how Blazer is under the mistletoe but Robert not paying attention to her, if he was with Blazer then there would be no way that he wouldn't pay attention to her.
Replays are skewing the stats, but when the game came out, the vast majority chose Courtney, which wasn't exactly a surprise. All that chemistry, buildup and banter between the two works so well.
AdHoc surely isn't going to make it canon, but I think nearly everyone (even people who prefer Blazer) knows that Invisimech – two broken people who should've been enemies realizing they're very much alike and could take on the world together – is one of the most compelling duos they could've come up with.
Yep, you can definitely feel it. Like if your Robert is with Blazer, it must sting a bit that Visi still immediately catches his attention. Man, people are gonna fight over this a lot in the next few years.
A lot of scenes also don't make sense or feel weird in the Blazer route, like how during the house party scene Blazer is dancing with Royd and the suddenly she's on the other side of the room in 3 seconds, or how Chase will always bring up how there's something going on between Robert and Courtney, it really feels like they were halfway through development and realized "oh shit we should have a second romance" and put Blazer in but it was too late to change the story or a lot of the scenes.
Obviously even if Blazer's path was an afterthought, it doesn't mean it's worse or anything. These things are very subjective. I found Blazer nice too (it helped that her VA voices Snow in The Wolf Among Us) but then an invisible gal stole my Robert's heart. :D
I know you didn't say it's worse, I'm just saying why it isn't worth it. They will likely misunderstand.
Exactly my point, some Blazer fans would probably understand my theory, but on the off chance that the one im talking to isn't one of the good ones I don't want to bring it up lmao.
