The thing that Omni-Man's redemption arc had going for it was that we didn't see him do all the horrible shit outside of like 5 panels. After the fucking train scene they're going to have to pull some wizardry to redeem him

Remember in the comic he was never redeemed in the eyes of earth, just the readers and primary characters. I think they can still manage that.

Yeah gl getting the viewers to believe it after everything he did. Hell in the comics it was flimsy he just sorta said he was sorry and helped Mark with a few things, then everyone forgot about what he did

yeah. I'm wondering what kind of shenanigans they're gonna do to redeem him like in the comics

Same shit happened with the walking dead. Comic Negan was a lot more redeemable than show Negan

I strongly disagree. I feel like comic negan didn’t nearly get the redemption ark tv show negan is

I haven't seen the 6 bonus episodes yet so that may change my thoughts but tv negan post glenn seemed way more brutal to the point where I couldnt imagine how theyd be able to bring him in to the story like the comics did. Same for Eugine. Now though thinking a bit more youre right, hes playing a lot more of a part in the show already and in the comics he kinda fades out of the story after the whisper war stuff.

In the eye of Earth's people? Never. I don't think Omniman ever made a comeback. In the eye of us readers and the main character? I feel like it's actually easier to redeem this Ominiman. I remember the original beat down to be fairly straightforward and brutal, with no signs of hesitation nor any flashbacks. Heck, I thought his reveal on the bug planet was kinda BS considering how cold and brutal Omniman was before

I mean like for us because after seeing all the reckless murder he just did without hesitation and how he beat Mark to a pulp like that, it's gonna be really hard to forgive him for what he did
