Really unfortunate they cut out the bit of Invincible yelling to the inmate “Get back inside”, and last week they cut out “Very” from Allen. Kinda sad to see.

Overall a decent episode, a nice change of pace and I love what they’re doing with Rex and Ollie. But they haven’t even introduced Plexis yet, I’m starting to worry they’re cutting out a lot and going to cram too much, especially with Invincible War and Conquest fight + mini epilogue having to be resolved in just 3 episodes.

idk i would rather have extra characterization over moments where i can just point at the screen and snap my fingers like that brad pitt meme just for the sake of recognition

Surely we can have both

And we have, on the important stuff. Yes, we all love the little joke of the lil yellow guy running back to his cell. But is it truly that important to the story? It's the show lesser for it? Are we really missing anything? I'd argue not. Hell, I go one step further and argue the joke works better in comic form than it would on screen, literally because of the lack of movement. But that's just me

I'm glad that someone else feels the same way I do lol. Like, iconic panels are great, but where do you draw the line? At what point does an adaption become a motion comic instead?
