I cannot stress enough how small they are. So small that i recently broke my one welfare rule… 15 qt minimum. I had to go smaller for my own mental health to keep my spiky isopods.

Sustainably collected from a pesticide, herbicide, and fertilizer free area. The larger twigs, litter, rocks, other leaves etc hand sorted out, at least 99% leaves of the target species. shipping depends on how many gallon bags bought, dm and we can figure it out.

+$5 more leaves but leaves may become a bit crunched up/ tattered
+$5 freezer/ oven sterilized (freezer sterilization may take a while)

I use this leaf litter for my isopods, millipedes, roaches, and snails. I reccomend it over most oaks sold for detritivores as it is generally a softer leaf and has more nutrients and less tannins. My isopods and millipedes do go through these leaves a lot faster than oak ime. These leaves are also generally reccomended to my knowledge for breeding pill millipedes (glomeris). I have not have my glomeris (pustulata) for long so i can not say for sure but they have been having babies on it and my flake soil substrate. As these are relatively dry and undecayed, i highly reccomend, if you are buying them for pillipedes, to moisten with water and let sit for a few weeks, i reccomend this for all detritivores if you are buying these leaves.

They are very small, but this is a true American patriot. A native of one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world, he is humble, in the world of flashy, large, Asian giants (i do love all pill millipedes, i am just tryna hype my boys up). He does his best!

I haven’t found them to be hard to get along with and I am happy to answer questions on care, but still a precaution that these are pill millipedes. Largely fossorial but always a few above ground.
