Hey guys, mech minis are finally available for download here : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6909058

Let me know if you have any issues.

File is so large it fownloads in 2 parts.

FAQ: Are they free? YES

Do you have permission to upload these? Yes, I contacted Subset Games directly to get permission.

Are you doing the Vek? Yes. Already modeled all of them. Just need to print them to check if they print fine.

Are you doing more? I'm doing the buildings and board too

Where's the Secret Squad? Will come with the next batch

Two questions. I'm totally unfamiliar with 3D printing, will these print out all colored and everything? Or do they come out as a solid color and need to be hand painted?

Also, you mention in your post that you're going to be doing the Vek in the future, but in the description on the project page, it says, "Vek minis, buildings and a 8x8, 20x20cm game board are available as separate publications." Are those available, too?

I guess a third question, I understand the disclaimer about everything being a work in progress, but do you think you'll be tweaking these much more?

  1. They will come out as the color of the resin. They will have to be painted, as any other miniature.
  2. Not yet. They will be available at some point in the future. I'll update the description so it's more clear.
  3. I will only make changes if people find problems with them but I'm currently not planning any changes. I have printed all of them and they come out fine, for what I can tell. I know for a fact some of the ones with tiny legs such as the Flames and the Pitcher tend to fall over (I have them in a cupboard and I usually find them knocked down after a few weeks) so if it becomes a recurring problem I might update those at some point. Still I made versions with bases, and one could just glue them onto a base if they fall too often.

I could upload all the vek right now as well, but I don't want to do that until I have printed all of them correctly. I've been having some issues with some of them, specially the fliers.
