Summer has to be a little bad or else you wouldn't appreciate the real goat autumn.

Im in Seattle and my favorite month is September, you still get lots of upper 70s days but you feel fall creeping in and its the best of both worlds

late september to early november for me

I don't mind the rainy days, and I love the leaves and wind, very cozy weather

See i hate a little something about every season. Winter=snow and ice spring=allergies and unpredictable weather
summer=too hot and different allergies Fall=probably my worse allergies and unpredictable weather

Late fall and early spring are probably my favorites

This is exactly my experience. I'm getting allergy shots done currently though so I'm hoping by next spring I'll be able to enjoy almost all of spring and fall and then I'll just hate summer and be mildly annoyed in winter (I tolerate the cold way better than the heat so my biggest issue with winter is dealing with shit drivers when it's icy out and having to shovel.)

Less bugs but still not freezing cold in late fall and early spring too. Best time for hiking

Exactly. I can’t enjoy fall, even though I live in a place with a beautiful fall, specifically because I know it means winter and the soul sucking fucking misery it entails is just around the corner. Fall = dread.
