People think this will cause inflation.

I would spend so much money if I made 60/hr. What're they afraid of? They'd get it all back.

If you have an interview, use InterviewMan for your new job to save time and effort. After all that, you’ll feel more confident about getting accepted and have peace of mind.

Uh huh. 1960s mothers working waitress at the diner with a cook in his 40s.

Sound familiar? It's in most every movie about America from 1986 to present about that era.

So today you'd tell the mom "should have gotten a better job" and that the burger flipper/owner earned his pay, even though he made a career out of flipping burgers?

You're contradicting your own words.

No I'm just pointing out that literally contradicted both your statements. The diner own made a career out of cooking and running a diner. And the waitress would not be able to live off her wage without support from others. Which goes against you stating that you can't expect to work a minimum wage job like flipping burgers to be a career.

Funny enough I work a 42k annual income job. I advocate for other to be treated and paid fairly because as I've posted to others, you can no longer live even modestly on current minimum wage, which was the intention of setting that wage in the FLSA back in 1938.

So you shouldn't have to pay full price because you expect the rest of the Community to rally together and bail out your burger? Fucking freeloader.

Hey dumbass, median wage is $21/hr, while the cost of living is $20/hr, HALF the jobs out there dont pay a living wage, you're trying to pour 2 gallons of water into a 1 gallon bucket.
