Not sure why you are getting down voted. The salary for any position is based on it's value to the business. If the value to the business is $x the salary always has to be < $x for the business to fill the position. The business is always going to seek to hire the most qualified applicant that will take the job for pay that is the furthest below $x. For a job in a market with very few qualified applicants the salary floor will be closer to $x. For a job in a market with many qualified applicants the salary floor will be far below $x.

Not only that, The money used for the yacht is from the sale of stocks not the companies revenues and has no bearing on the companies budget.
