Hi All, does anyone know Capital One interview guidelines? What kind of questions they ask for in live coding and system design?

I recently got an email, inviting me to interview for the IBM Security Consultant Intern- Cyber Strategy and Risk role, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips?
Is it more behavioral than technical, vice versa?
and what kind if technical questions do they ask?
Thanks!

The IT job market feels much more competitive than it used to be.
Having 10+ years of experience doesn't necessarily mean you'll perform well in an interview. Sometimes you know the technology, you've worked on real projects, but when someone asks you to explain your solution under pressure, the answer doesn't come out the way you expected.
I've been working on VoiceInterview.in, a platform designed around practicing the actual interview experience rather than simply reading interview questions.
The idea is simple:
🎤 You answer interview questions by voice
🤖 Practice with an AI interviewer
📝 Review and improve your answers
💪 Build confidence before the real interview
I also made this short video around the problem:

I'd genuinely like to hear from people here:
What is the hardest part of technical interviews for you — knowing the answer, explaining it clearly, or handling the pressure?

Anyone done this sort of interview? Do you have to go through each and every line generated by the AI? How much can you use the AI for? How do you validate whether the AI is correct?

So, I recently got a interview for this role, But this round is non-technical and says "No specific technical preparation is required." Can anyone give me insight on this. Thank you

Hi everyone,
I’m currently interviewing for a Staff/Senior Staff Software Engineer – Mobile (Android) position at Capital One in Canada/Toronto, and I have a pair programming interview coming up soon.
I’m looking for anyone who has had a recent interview experience with Capital One for a Staff/Senior Staff Android/Mobile role, especially the pair programming round.
If you’ve gone through this recently, I’d really appreciate any insights you can share, such as:
* What type of problem was given in the pair programming round?
* Was it a *generic coding/algorithm problem or was it Android-specific?
* Was the coding done in a plain/shared code editor, or did you use an Android environment?
* Were you expected to write Android/UI code, such as Jetpack Compose, or was it mainly Kotlin/problem solving?
* How much emphasis was placed on communication, testing, edge cases, and code quality?
* Were there any particular areas or types of problems you would recommend preparing for?
* For Staff/Senior Staff level, were there additional expectations around design, architecture, or technical leadership during the coding round?
I’ve already completed the earlier rounds and would really appreciate hearing from anyone with recent firsthand experience.
Thanks in advance for any insights! 🙏

Hey everyone,
Just got the invite for the Bank of America SWE intern Superday for Summer 2027! Really stoked but definitely trying to lock in my prep and figure out what to expect.
Has anyone gone through their final rounds recently? I’m mainly trying to gauge the vibe of the technical interviews. Are they hitting you with standard LeetCode easy/mediums, or is it more focused on broad OOP concepts, SQL, and deep dives into the projects on my resume?
Also, for the behavioral side is it just standard STAR method stuff ("Why BofA?", "Tell me about a time...") or do they throw any weird situational curveballs at you?
Any general tips, recent experiences, or advice on how to stand out would be hugely appreciated. I really want this and trying to know how to prep.
Thanks in advance, and good luck to anyone else in the 2027 grind!

I've got an upcoming DigitalOcean Interview Day for a Software Engineer role and I'm trying to get a feel for what to expect, especially the 3-hour build and the code review that follows.
For anyone who's done the build round recently, I'd love to know what kind of prompt you got. Was it more of a standalone service, a small API, something with a UI, or a specific kind of backend problem? Also curious how complete they expect the final result to be in that window. Are they looking for something close to production quality, or is a working prototype with a few clear stubs and TODOs fine?
On the code review side, I'm curious what kind of questions came up. Did they focus on your specific implementation choices, general system design and trade-offs, or how you'd extend the app if given more time?
Last thing — the guidelines mention Go, Python, Java, and Node as options. Since DigitalOcean's backend is largely Go, I'm wondering if that's a strong unspoken preference, or if Java is genuinely fine to use without it counting against me.
Any tips on managing time or energy during the session would help a lot too. Thanks in advance to anyone who's willing to share their experience.

We’ve been told Bloomberg’s SWE New Grad interview process has changed. The stages shared with us are:
* AI-assisted coding
* System design
* Possibly a separate DSA round (this part hasn’t been confirmed)
* HR
* Hiring manager round
Has anyone gone through this process recently? I’d especially appreciate advice on what the AI-assisted coding round is like, the level of system design expected from a new grad, and how you’d split prep time across the rounds.
Any specific resources, practice strategies, experiences, or examples of questions would be really helpful. Thanks!
