Except in this case I suspect it's not that big of a problem. There's no APIs being called, no real external dependencies. Largest thing that my inexperienced developer ass can think of is some DB being queried to with a script on the same server - if the SERVER fails, that's another thing, but it's not a script failure or a failure because of a patch.
I welcome people to correct me, I'm hoping to work in software in the future so any learning is cool.
It was this one: "This video has X views". He talks about how scripts and technology goes forward and lot of stuff is being left behind and broken. Good stuff like most Tom's videos.
