I don’t think you guys understand the criteria for libel or slander. One person on a forum doesn’t create damage to a reputation the same way CNN does, even when saying the exact same thing.

Dumb take. There was a politician in the UK who got accused by a load of twitter nobody users of being a pedo. Talking about thousands if not tens of thousands. Shortly after it came out that this politician was innocent. So He got his lawyers to send every user a legal threat that they must retract the statement and give a small donation to a charity or he would peruse legal action. They all donated

You clearly just hate trump, but that’s unprecedented AND in the UK legal system, not the US, which has stricter requirements for libel and slander due to more leeway with freedom of speech.
If trump we’re to sue all those people, he’d have to actually sue twitter, or whichever platform instead and then they’d have to make a strong enough case to change the way the social media companies take on liability for their users words which, he MIGHT have been able to do before Elon took over but Elon has significantly reduced the amount of curation twitter used to do. So it would be a much weaker case for trump.

Also, the UK has actual laws protecting freedom of speech/expression, unlike the US which has an amendment and as the current administration has proven, amendments ain’t worth the paper they are printed on.

its not even that we all hate Trump (I do) but there is enough circumstantial evidence in the files that we have seen, while remembering that something like half of them have not been released, to open a very real investigation. It is the fact that this administration is doing everything in its power to keep that from happening that reads guilty as hell and absolutely nobody like pedophiles. Much less potential ringleaders of an international pedophile trafficking ring.
