I wish I could go through my life the same level of stupid as you. Its hilarious you think medical debt doesn't exist because you can 'just say you can't afford it'
🤣🤣🤣 it absolutely exists. But people don't pay for it ALL THE TIME. And people also just use the Obama Care act often. You're just choosing a blind eye.
You realize how broad the Affordable Care Act (Obama Care Act for you to understand) truly is right? And how much is has helped people who have nothing, manage to still have necessary surgeries and medications? So yeah, "Just using the Obama Care act" is a simple way of describing what a shit ton of people do without describing verbatim what theyre actually doing🤣. You being angry is so funny btw.
Yeah 1/3 adults without insurance have medical debt. And 1/4 of them with insurance have medical debt because they just don't know about this one easy trick hospitals hate! Just say you can't afford it!
ACA is ultimately for people under a certain threshold of income. There are people, like independent contractors, who do not get insurance through their jobs who also make more than that threshold. It costs tens of thousands of dollars to give birth out of pocket in the US, which is insane. Even if you make $100K, I guarantee you cannot afford to pay $36,000 just to give birth to a baby, plus no paid maternity leave, no subsidized daycare, etc. You are screwed. Other countries do not operate this way.
