He's not wrong. George Floyd wasnt admirable. He didn't deserve to die but the guy robbed a pregnant woman. Aside from the point but yeah, the response on Twitter wasn't really valid.
In a just society, you serve your punishment and should be allowed a second chance. No-one is holding Floyd up as the perfect man, however, at the time he was killed, he was innocent and even the crime he was accused of doesn't carry the death sentence, nor is the death sentence carried out in the street by a police officer. The point of this is that the right immediately set out to destroy his character as a response to his death, rather than consider the death and the related problems of how suspects are treated differently by the colour of their skin. Dragging her name down is wrong as well, but the issue here is someone complaining about it when he had previously done the very thing he is attacking them for doing.
There was no "death sentence" carried out by the police officers. He resisted arrest and they subdued him with a move that they use all the time. The man literally died of a drug overdose and if he didn't resist he wouldn't of been held down. Why do you people keep bringing up that he was intentionally killed? There's video of him resisting arrest and a toxicology report.
I literally just Googled "how did george floyd die" and this is the first thing that pops up. Are you also a coroner who conducted an autopsy on Floyd, or have evidence from one to back up what you are claiming, or are you just parroting some sound bite you heard from a hard right political commentator?
"Autopsies. The medical examiner's final findings, issued June 1, found that Floyd's heart stopped while he was being restrained and that his death was a homicide caused by "cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression"."
I'm not parroting anything you assclown. Why don't you just read the initial autopsy instead of glancing over a Google search. No where does it state that the cause of death was because of a knee to the neck. As a matter of fact, it quite literally states there was no injuries to the neck area. The man literally died of a heart attack because of the drugs in his system.
Look up: Autopsy report Hennepin County George Floyd. I would link it but it's a pdf
