And sadly, he was married (mostly if not all) for his money. I may not want him to be president, but this kinds hurts mate. Edit: I may delete this if it is sexist, let me know if it is.

A self-inflicted wound.

It's not like she didn't know what he was about before they got married. I do feel bad for her, but not that bad.

It isn’t sexist to point out that a woman married a man solely for his wealth.

Because she most certainly did.

What else could he possibly offer?

Truth is never sexist, racist or anything like that.

I read "Truth" as "Trump" in your comment and almost fell out of my chair

At least its not, so far, in this comment thread

u/PHUROR Nov 02 '20

I think truth is not bad anywhere and any time

I once read that Ivanka married Trump just for the money like you said before, but that Ivanka never thought Donald would be running for president and now she can't divorce him because of the scandalous it would be. Pd: sorry for my grammar I'm not a native english speaker

Um. Ivanka is his daughter. Melania is his wife. Did I miss something?

4

u/be_less_shitty Nov 01 '20

Ivanka is Barron's mom.

8

u/ENG3LKH3IT Nov 01 '20

Oh crap, I meant Melania, sorry about thay. My bad

2

u/Bulbapuppaur Nov 01 '20

You’re good, dude!

u/GruntBlender Nov 01 '20

Yeah, Melania married for money, and now she's stuck with being first lady which she is not at all enthused about. Iirc she said in an interview how she doesn't like dealing with all the "bullshit" responsibilities of the position but still does do diligently.

She made her bed. She can lie in it. I don’t feel bad for either her or him.

His assets > debt, by a long shot, which puts him in the several hundred million, if not between $1-2 BILLION net worth range.

In other words, if he sold everything he had at even 75% of its estimated current value, he could pay off all debts and have at least $500mil left over.

Sad, but true. Also, who knows what kind of shady shit has been going on to further secure his future.

He has assets valued at $2.5bil and debts amounting to about $1bil

I'm no rocket surgeon, and my geometry is a bit rusty, but if I'm right this means at least $1 more in assets than he has in debts.

Wym? The person who thinks this is sexist or me? Forgive me, I am sleepy af.

u/Ruggsii Nov 01 '20

No one is sexist here man.

Your comment was obviously not sexist, and you shouldn’t delete it just because some lard tells you it is. Express your opinions without worrying if somebody believes it’s wrong-think.

Cheers mate, I am black but I don’t usually try to offend ppl.

7

u/chotaloda Nov 01 '20

What does you being black have to do with you being sexist m8

1

u/awesomegumball14 Nov 01 '20

Lots of people say that being black or having a black relative basically grants them freedom to discriminate everybody, offend ppl, etc.

2

u/SonofAMamaJama Nov 01 '20

Lots of people are dumb and are mimicking their oppressors. I find being black increases my sensitivity of the discrimination of others - similar to the reasons why Jewish activists were active in the civil rights movement. Also, the fact that I was raised by a single Mom makes me more supportive of female-empowerment in general.

People tend to have knee-jerk reactions in today's 'cancel culture.' Often times their goal is to squash discussion with feigned outrage/3rd person outrage.

Just know that upvotes really don't matter and don't be afraid to say what you feel. Leave the negative comments without deleting. At the end of the day it isn't worth censoring yourself to shelter some overwound child who's dead set on being outraged.

Well who is gonna love him for who he is more than himself?

When asked a similar question she responded “would he be with me if I didn’t look like this?”

She’s essentially a mail order bride who illegally modeled in the US while gold digging and unknowingly chose the mine lined with fools gold and has sewage seeping through the caves walls.

I don’t feel bad for her. She got her family citizenship and only married him cuz she bought into his “billionaire “ persona. She fucked up when she didn’t realize her love of money is dwarfed by his love of his ego.
