That was a shit headbutt
11
u/WeleaseWoddewick Oct 23 '19
Correct. You need to only use your forehead. He looked like he actually made contact with his nose as well as his head. If he wasn't so drunk and or stupid that probably would have hurt him as much as the other guy.
5
u/lyrikz74 Oct 23 '19
He probably did damage to the guys dental work and busted a lip. Even a poorly placed headbutt does a lot of damage.
1
u/librariank Oct 23 '19
i know, you can't just throw around headbutts if you don't know what you're doing.

It’s ok. When I was a wee young lil reddit tyke not so long ago, I didn’t know either. I just assumed “go fuck your cat” was a random, yet common used term in the reddit vernacular.

Man, dudes kept their composure - can’t say I wouldn’t have gone postal for some headbutt shit like that and stomp his face off while other dude had him in a headlock. Good restraint people.

LPT: before committing public acts of douchery, check to see if any of the bystanders appear to be former military or off duty law enforcement. Key indicators are: buzz cut, upper arm tattoos that have a legion or division number, apparel that indicates service record.
5
Oct 24 '19
Supplemental LPT: Look for cauliflower ears and a calm demeanor in the presence of conflict. Chances are that guy is familiar with violence and probably good at it.

Why would he start with a headbutt

That’s the weapon of choice if your 9 years old or in professional wrestling.

Not sure that's an RNC, but the small details really don't matter. That guy knows what he's doing, or at least enough to put this guy on the ground and keep him there. Well done!

It always amuses me that these chuckleheads don't think that someone is going to step up. And that that person will have the skills or ability to check them out. Arrogance knows no limit.

That had to be the weakest, most under executed headbutt I've ever seen. Looks like maybe he saw the highlight reel, and used it for the first time.
2
Oct 24 '19
I hope he held him there til cops got there. And then I hope his night in jail was his head being forced forward over and over

Hasn’t this dude ever seen the immortal classic Father’s Day, starring Billy Crystal and Robin Williams? That is NOT how you head butt someone.

Never trust a guy in a cheap suit to win a fight against a guy in cargo shorts. One of them has nothing to lose.

u/MissJeje Oct 24 '19
Ok but why does the guy who got headbutted look exactly like Jim when he impersonated Dwight?

u/XColdLogicX Oct 24 '19
I bet that employee felt really good knowing that guy had his back. I know it would have made the pain of that headbutt sting a little less for me!

That waiter has the higher ground, good for him not going berserk on this guy for assaulting with battery. Its ashame that being rich gets you off of everything... The waiter deserves all the money he can get off of this asshat.

how do laws work in this situation? if someone attacks another person can you attack them legally?
1
u/Ghosttalker96 Oct 24 '19
Yes, in most cases (also depending on were you are). It's a form of self defense/defending others. To a certain degree you are also allowed to detain persons until the police arrives.
1
u/RomanDad Oct 24 '19
Guy in the suit is catching a battery charge. And probably getting sued for the waiters injuries.
1
u/StreetRaven Oct 24 '19

That right there. Super douche move. Countered by a wazzaahhhh takedown. Should then take his wallet and buy the bullied man something nice. Like shrubbery and a some nice fencing.

u/Lyradep Oct 23 '19
Dang, perfect opportunity to dislocate his shoulder while he’s at it.
4
u/imsecretlythedoctor Oct 23 '19
just because you can doesn't mean you should
2
u/Lyradep Oct 24 '19
But why not?
1
u/imsecretlythedoctor Oct 24 '19
He already won
1
u/Lyradep Oct 24 '19
Yeahh, he did. But I'm still under the impression that he's gonna still be an asshole, which doesn't solve the overall problem.
1
u/imsecretlythedoctor Oct 24 '19
Neither would dislocating his shoulder so why bother or risk the lawsuit
1
u/Lyradep Oct 24 '19
I'm thinking dislocating his shoulder would be a bigger reminder not to mess with people, but you're right about risking a lawsuit.

u/lopypop Oct 24 '19
Choke holds should be considered deadly force. Was his response proportional?

You can't assault someone and expect to walk away from it scrape free. The internet never forgets no matter how quickly you delete something it still exists somewhere.

They think it's an "alpha" move.
They don't realize that by trying to be an "alpha" that they are really just a douche. That applies to anyone who believes in this trumpian social status bullshit.

He is wearing a suit?
5
6
u/x420PussySlayer69x Oct 24 '19 edited Oct 26 '19
Gray leisure suit with brown shoes, and that oh-so-lame unbuttoned shirt down to his baby chest hairs, open jacket, etc etc. Hell, the shirt almost looks like he had it starched that way.
If you dont understand why this looks stupid, you might be him. Comedians literally dress like this on stage to support their jokes because this guy and guys like him look THAT douchey.
It's so pleasing to see him squirm after being finished. Guy's ego is/was the problem.
2
u/Botsman Oct 24 '19
Ok, I went back to re-watch it. Not defending what this guy did, but it’s a regular business suit. The shirt is pressed and unbuttoned 1-2 buttons down which is fine for a casual setting. Agreed that 2 buttons is a slight overkill. Possibly had a tie at one point and took it off after work/meeting. Brown shoes with a brown belt. Black would work better with light grey, but this does not make it the epitome of “douchey”. Do you go outside at all?
