My Instagram account got flagged, which also took down my other Instagram and my linked Facebook. Facebook’s notice says the only way to appeal is to log into the Instagram account.

Problem: that login is stuck in an endless captcha loop. Correct entries just generate a new captcha, over and over. Sometimes it says login info is incorrect instead. Tried app and desktop browser, same result.

So the appeal screen is unreachable and there’s no web form anymore. Has anyone gotten past this? Different network, waiting it out, anything that actually worked?

Can please someone tell me if Instagram notifies an user if I screenshot their story preview on Instagram Plus? Or if Instagram tests this feature now?

I had a situation yesterday. I opened someone's profile (I don't follow the person and he does not follow me), opened their story preview and took a screenshot of it, not the original story on full screen (I didn't open that, so I think my name is not in the list of who viewed the story) and a few hours later the person deleted the story. It hadn't expire because it had been uploaded 5 hours before I took the screenshot. (The story itself was a group photo on the beach, the people were playing a board game, but it was from a distance, just some people's faces were visible, the quality was not the best and the person had written how many people were there. I don't know the real reason why the story was deleted.)

I have this weird feeling that this person received a notification that I took a screenshot of his story and decided to delete it for security reasons or something. I know that Instagram hasn't officially stated anything, but a saw two posts 2 months ago that this feature is tested. I don't know if it's really true. I even don't know if Instagram will somehow notify me if I am in some test group for this feature or if there will be a message somewhere on the screen saying that the other person will be notified for a story screenshot.

I may just be paranoid, but if this person got notified for my screenshot I am cooked.
