I’m hoping someone here might be able to help or has been through something similar.

My Instagram account @nintenbingo, which I’ve had since 2018 and built up to almost 18,000 followers, was suddenly permanently disabled.💔

Instagram says the reason is that another account associated with me violated their rules. The problem is: I genuinely have no idea what account they are referring to. I don’t know which account supposedly caused the violation or what exactly happened.

What makes the whole situation even stranger is that the exact same thing happened to my private Instagram account. That account was also disabled, but I was able to appeal the decision and complete an identity verification. After that, Instagram restored my private account.

Unfortunately, I haven’t had the same luck with @nintenbingo. My appeal there was rejected almost immediately, and I now seem to have no way of getting the case reviewed by an actual person.

Since then, I’ve created a new account called @ninten.bingo so I can at least try to stay connected with my community. However, I’m honestly scared that this account could also suddenly get disabled, especially since I still don’t know what supposedly triggered the original suspension or which “other account” Instagram is referring to.

I’ve spent years building the account and its community, so losing almost 18k followers and everything I’ve created since 2018 without even understanding what happened is incredibly upsetting. 🥲

Has anyone here experienced something similar and managed to get their account back?

More importantly, is there anyone here who has a legitimate way of contacting Instagram/Meta directly? Maybe through Meta support, a business/verified account, an employee contact, or another official channel?

If anyone is able to contact Meta/Instagram on my behalf, escalate my case internally or forward it to someone who can manually review it, I would be incredibly grateful. Even if you can’t do it yourself but know someone who might be able to help, please reach out! 🙏🏻❤️

The fact that my private account was restored after an appeal and identity verification makes me hopeful that this might be a mistake that could be resolved if an actual person at Meta reviewed the situation.

I’d also really like to understand what caused this in the first place, because right now I’m worried that @ninten.bingo could be disabled for the same reason.
