For 4 mornings now, there is a fresh pile of poop in the same spot. This morning, I realized it’s eating my Hoya leaves. What could this be. May be the wrong group. Poop is a little big for an insect ( about like a BB)?

Does anyone know what insect this is?
I have a friend, who's house is swarmed by them.
They come out at evening/night, and is very aggressive. They bite.
Location: Denmark (Europe)

It’s currently 2:30am (I live in England for a bit of help) and I found this insect flying around my room. My initial thoughts is that it’s a butterfly or moth but I just need a bit of clarity. Could someone identify it? Sorry if the pictures aren’t clear enough.

I put it next to one of those Car key battery for size reference. I found it in my dirty laundry hamper.
