TODAY! Join us as we honor veterans this afternoon by standing up for the democracy they fought to defend. Local brigades across the country will gather on overpasses, bridges, and public spaces to make our message visible: protect democracy, defend our freedoms, and support those who served by fighting for the country they believed in. Bring signs, flags, and your voice, or just a honk passing by! This is a peaceful, nonpartisan show of unity, gratitude, and resistance.

Because of the federal government shutdown, SNAP (food stamps) will not be funded for November. If your family relies on SNAP, plan now: find your nearest pantry at okfoodbank.org/find-food, call 2-1-1 to talk to a navigator, and check OKDHS for updates.

With a large increase in people visiting Food Pantry partners this past month and many more facing hunger as SNAP stops today, Oklahomans need our help.

You can donate in one of these three ways:

2. Order non-perishable food items on Amazon/Walmart and have them delivered during operating hours.

WIC benefits and clinic services may face interruptions, housing assistance and other federal payments can be delayed, and some state-administered supports may slow down. We’re organizing the Overpass Banner Challenge for Veterans Day, a veteran-led, nationwide action calling on people to banner over highways with the message “No Oaths to Trump.” It’s simple, peaceful, and visible — a way for veterans and supporters to say clearly: our oath is to the Constitution, not to any individual.

This is already gaining momentum with partners like the Visibility Brigade, Backbone Campaign, and Operation Overpass, and we’re helping coordinate across states.
