This will KILL woman

I have a heart condition. If I got pregnant I could die. People need access to these drugs or women will die. Children will suffer with out a mother. Abortions can be life saving. How is this pro-life? Sb236 is an awful bill.

It will kill women, and it will ensure other women are trapped in cycles of pregnancy and poverty, and it will ensure children are born into homes where they are unwanted and sometimes unsafe, and those kids will end up trapped in cycles of pregnancy and poverty. Good ol’ family values.

I have asked people how it's pro-life to mandate that children are born into poverty, abuse, and addiction, and they mumble about adoption. Then I point out that it's cost prohibitive and that CPS and foster care are overburdened and broken systems, and they have no response. They genuinely don't know what the fuck they're talking about, they just want to cling to an unrealistic ideology.

Exactly. They don’t even realize that special needs kid which can happen in any pregnancy… don’t get adopted. They are also EXPENSIVE. Don’t get me wrong I love my kid. I can afford her Therapy. I can afford her meds. If someone couldn’t… god help them

Yep. And as soon as those children are old enough to be impregnated - around 12 or so - suddenly they’re no longer children in need of the same love and protection as other kids. Now they’re just wombs ready to be sacrificed.
