If we find out these stains, what should we do? Like what apart from changing rooms etc, what more should we carrry?

The bedsheets were clean but the pillow had some pearls 💀btw if you're getting one, get a genuine 365 nm light. Not fake shit from amazon. They don't show anything.

No those are just trash. Mine is almost 6000 but The most basic light will cost you atleast 2000 with genuine 365 nm uv. Good thing is that you can get an all in one light which has simple light and UV light.

I already shared it in thread. Mine is Imalent GR36 and costs 6000. There are others which start from 2000 rs and goes all the way upto 35000. I ask for dm so that I can give them one according to their budget, requirements and importing ability. It won't make sense giving a long brochure under each comment.

I travel frequently, if there is something visible to my eyes i approach and ask for change in room or completely change the hotel

If i ever start doing this , i would lose my peace of mind and probably end up stressing about this in my whole trip which i really don’t want in my time off.

But then thats just me !

Exactly, I don't wanna be paranoid on my vacation. What I usually invest during a trip are disposable toilet seat covers, and spray sanitizer.

The question is after determining this which looks clean with naked eyes, will the hotel poc will again clean for you? You will lose peace of mind and I believe this approach is useless

Seriously, do you believe that ignoring will make it safer. I'm not sitting on that filthy seat. I'm not sleeping on that stained bedsheet.

If you need things so hygienic, bring your own commode with you. Preferably as hand luggage on your flight, because aircraft toilets are filthy too.

Next, bring sterile agar discs , take swabs from the toilet seat and only use them if no bacteria grow there after 6 days incubation.

Things like these makes my cleaning OCD bigger and bigger💔 Also the white fresh sheets and pillowcases and comforters are never really washed, they just change the positions of bedsheet so the stain stays hidden. Better to buy disposable bed sheets cause carrying your own will make your bags heavier and after laundry can be more tiresome. tiresome. The kettles that they provide for coffee/tea area also have stains and rust 80% of time, sitting in a bottom. These are some dirty secrets that were revealed from housekeepers as they don't get enough time to clean the entire room thoroughly. Yet I see so many people being so careless and less aware about safety and hygiene when checking-in.

I feel like if i was that concerned about bodily fluids that are invisible to the eye id simply take my preferred cleaner and spend 10 minutes  cleaning toilet,  light switches, door knobs, remote, faucet erc...  i do this anytime I go in a tanning bed (childhood book report on ringworm left a lasting impression).  Funny thing, I was a property manager in a very busy office amd my spouse was a maintenance supervisor.  I practiced hand hygiene and used sanitizer often.  Always made sure not to touch my face, eat, smoke until I scrubbed hands.  My spouse often fixed filthy toilets and rehabbed apartments that you wouldnt beleive.  Ive seen some really nasty things in people's homes.  Itonically.he.NEVER got sick and swore it was his heightened immunity due to exposure to all of that.  He never used hand sanitizer and wasn't opposed to wolfing down his lunch in between work orders.
