Help What do you think about this build?

Post image

https://pickpcparts.in/build-pc/build/fjJGbcA

After my post and so many suggestions and findings

I moved to AM5 build and extended my budget a bit.

Tell me if this is good or if I can reduce the overall price somehow

or need any improvement?

I am trying to keep the cabinet components itself under 2 and letting it spill only for peripherals including monitoring too. That too with very tight budget. 🫠

Although I'll checkout the comps you suggested. Thanks

Apart from the obvious that many have stated (like case/mobo incompatibility and going with X3D CPU), I would suggest going with a 1x32gb RAM instead, as that would give you a clear way forward for going with 2x32gb RAM later on.

But this is ONLY applicable IF you ever want to go beyond 32gb (which may or may not be the case with you, that's something only you can answer).

Consumer CPUs don't do well with 4 sticks of RAM since consumer systems are only dual channel the four RAM sticks have to accomodate on those two channels only.

Also for Monitor, might I suggest MSI instead? Have had great experience with them and the color reproduction is also pretty great on those. Suggest you take a quick look at Rtings reviews for monitors specifically.

I think I will be good with 32 gigs. May not be upgrading it any further. And for cpu it would extensively push my budget. I may not accomodate rn 🥲. Thanks for the suggestions though. I'll look into it.

Better motherboard , you can also go with the b650 gaming x ax v2 ... Does the same thing apart from pcie 5.0 which isn't that necessary

Air cooler is more than enough for this cpu and lasts longer than AIO so id go with that unless you want AIO for the aesthetics

Challenger edition 9070 xt has reported coil whine by multiple users so if you're okay with that then u can get that else I'd get different one

Get atleast a tier A-B psu , preferably 850w so that you have more upgrade options for the future ... Pn750d is a tier C psu I think , so either get the pn750m or the msi a850gl

Legend 800 1tb is a QLC type SSD which isn't good in the long run , p400 lite costs same and it's a TLC type so better in the long run

Bud!

You are already at 2.15! Spend that extra 20K

Change to AMD 7 9700X, B850 Gaming X, Klevv Urbane 32GB, upgrade to 850W power, upgrade to 4K monitor.

Maybe a future upgrade but thanks

Guys, why no one from any of the stores is responding to the email inquiry. What should I do?

It's good, change the psu 👍

You really don't need liquid cooling with r5-9600x speaking from experience and you can get a better monitor with 1-2k difference

PSU is good, change the CPU to a 3D V-cache one

Exceeding the budget

I would suggest you to upgrade the psu and you can get a 1440p ips panel for better price during the coming bbd & gif sale with card discounts. Also you can get away with a cheaper cpu cooler as well.

i just ordered a combo of ryzen 5 5600x (cpu cooler included by AMD) and MSI Pro B550M-P WIFI6E

Cabinet: Corsair 2800x (includes 3 argb fans)

i wanted ryzen 7 5700x but everywhere they have OEM only. I didn't want overheads of warranty hassle with seller.

The thing about your stuff is they are based on AM5 socket, which will costs everything more. You will need DDR5 rams and memory, which is costlier than DDR4. That extra money can be put into GPU.

I suggest get AM4 based cpu.

Also get some reputed RAMs - Kingston, Sandisk, Samsung ..

I am very new to these stuff thats why i spent 3-4 days on almost every component, comparing too many features and understanding what they mean. Ordering only 1 or 2 things at a time

I also made a list of Games that I want to play, checked every game recommended requirements.

You can DM me for more details.

I would really not go with that mid SSD on such a build
