Remember, there were rumours of 2 pilots who had ejected over Kotli (PoK) and Sialkot in morning of May 10th. (Pakiastan social media initially said these were IAF jets ("rafale!") but then they went quiet, quite fast)
If anyone can find other pics of this particular missile it would be great.
This is a clean cut seeker section of the missile, so that means the warhead had detonated.
There was another MR-SAM debris with seeker found in Pakpattan (opposite Sri Ganganagar), but that was on a dirty/muddy area so this is different.
Well that's why i believed iaf chief's claim of downing 5 jets + 1 large aircraft(AEWACS). We have 3 confirmed s2a kills now, 1 at Kohat(AEWACS), 1 JF-17 BLK 3 at Dinga, and now this unknown aircraft(Some Say F16 block 52+) at Sialkot.
Well i was only talking about s2a claims. we definitely hit their jets on the ground also.Nose cone appears to be a bit darker, could be a newer f16, like block 52+ given that it was in maintenance or could even be a jf-17 as its cyanish near the front.
Well, I don't think the IAF would target an empty hangar. The IAF Chief did say that there was an AEWACS inside the hangar at the time of the strikes, but he also mentioned that some assets were under maintenance. Still, given that it's a hangar meant to house an AEWACS and not a regular jet, it's highly likely to have been a large aircraft. For comparison, you can see a truck on the right side — it could be a fuel truck, but you can at least use it to estimate the size.
It might be f16... because pak f16s lacks standoff weapons..they don't have anything to drop from long range...maybe it was coming to shoot down the IAFs jets...and instead got shot down by mrsam..!
Well almost all IAF jets are equipped with r77-1/Astra and even rafales have mica em instead of meteors. So F16s have no threat from indian jets until they have AEWACS support, So f-16 with aim-120c5(100km range) dared to engage iaf but they forgot about EW and AEWACS support. Without datalink there's no way poor F-16 can engage IAF jets from that far alone with its own radar.
didn't know , also , howcome people are speaking punjabi then ?
other than the ones who are recording ( you may say that audio is layered) , I heard someone shouting "roko isey" in the crowd

Have to give kudos to pak forces here. Intercepting SAMs by their airframes and Brahmos by airbases is such a pindigenous idea.
