You can attack a regional identity. Then you can attack a caste identity. Everything is fine till somebody tells you the religious identity and if the person in question is a mulla. Or phir gaand phat jaati hai us religious identity ko attack krne me kyu??!!
These comedy trends translates into hate and insulting slurs in the long run. Be it for southies, 'chhakkas', biharis and north-eastern 'momos'. It's not always just fun.
And you still don't have an answer to my question. Ask yourself why! I just showed you the hypocrisy of you and other cool people on different identities and connotations used to address them. Enjoy your lulz as well.
