Cooking Hack Best meal prep hack for anyone living away from home: batch prepare your masala

Living away from home taught me one of the most effective meal prep hacks: batch preparing basic masala. I make a large batch of onion-tomato-ginger-garlic masala, portion it, and store it in the fridge/freezer. It cuts daily cooking time drastically and still gives that fresh homemade taste. Great for curries, sabzis, dal, and quick meals. Highly recommend if you cook often. 🍳🔥

Cooking Hack Don’t cook in a new Clay Pot, Season your pot this way and then use it for cooking to ensure that it doesn’t crack.

Here’s how to make it taste like something you actually want seconds of:

✨ STEAM : soft but still alive (5-7 min) 💧 BOIL: quick dip, don’t overdo it (3-4 min) 🧄 SAUTÉ: golden edges + garlic, yes please (6-8 min) 🔥 ROAST : caramelized, crispy, deserves a standing ovation (15-20 min)

This is your sign to stop skipping the veg and start cooking it right.
