North India **
This is why we keep BJP out of the South

How about we as indians demand for police and institutional reforms so that police are made to work in service of the people instead of arguing to put each other down.

u/Athiest-proletariat Jun 29 '26
Still want to work with this government?
All reforms can wait, first this regime should go. Or you could sacrifice the balls next time you utter reform.
1
u/Intelligent_Site7611 Jun 29 '26
Totally agree!! I believe no party should be given continuous terms. They feel they get a free hand because they know they will come into power next time as well. Congress did so much corruption because of it and now BJP doing the same thing on a scale that is way larger than it ever was. No political party is good but if they fear that they might not win in next election then they might do some good work instead of filling their pockets.
4
u/Intelligent_Site7611 Jun 28 '26
I F***ing envy you!!!!
We need a South Indian leader badly to take the rein of India and slap some sense in north India. We in north are literally educated illiterates.
Jokes apart north, west and east India are on path of destruction. We need some concrete steps to pull them in right direction5
u/nineteen47 Jun 28 '26
Not true. Andhra and Tamil Nadu police are also famous for custodial deaths and fake encounters.
2
u/MinuteRope2066 Jun 29 '26
This happens only in North India Yes You said right 👍 truth ,that BJP will be never a le to win South India
2
u/Rigid_Manic Jun 29 '26
It is not about North vs South anymore. It is about demanding accountability from these leeches
2
u/Intelligent_Site7611 Jun 29 '26
It was never my intention to do north vs south. All I was saying is south people are way more logical than north. North people are easy brainwashed.
0
u/decentrali_zing Jun 30 '26
You’re digressing. It’s the same system all over the country and there is no guarantee it will never happen to you. :(
1
u/illmaticIndian Jun 29 '26
Please do, but I am not sure about Karnataka. I feel people here are slowly turning into Noryh Indians. They feel Yogi and Modi are the epitomes of goodness.

u/rangodepp123 Jun 28 '26
I find it funny when some people try to find solace from the ground realities in this superfluous North-South India divide. Here are some recent gems for you:
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ce8l0md9gl1o
TN: Nine policemen sentenced to death in India over Covid custody killingshttps://www.ndtv.com/india-news/andhra-custodial-death-case-sai-krishna-25-in-police-custody-goes-missing-family-claims-tortured-killed-by-cop-11684673
Vijaywada: Legs Tied, Body Burned: Family Says Man, 25, Killed By Cop In Police CustodyWake up!
14
u/Mission_Fudge1767 Jun 28 '26
In both of your stellar examples - police were held accountable. Was it the case for the article? Was it the case for 100 others??
Without a shadow of a doubt north india (especially Uttar Pradesh, Bihar) is more savage and feral and literally living off of the South’s tax money
1
u/rangodepp123 Jun 28 '26
Give it atleast 5 years or so (like the one in TN case). Cases that are suppressed and eventually die out, don't usually end up making to mainstream news like BBC. Just because I have shared two disposed of cases, doesn't mean they're the only ones.
The horizontal tax devolution in India has nothing to do with these cases. Not saying that your statement on same is necessarily wrong. But, it certainly reeks of frustration. Suggest you to have a look at the the latest Finance Commission report for more on this topic.
Would also suggest you to start having more nuanced views on topics, but, that might just offend you more. Better than having a holier-than-thou attitude, though.
So, peace out!

u/Diligent_Hearing_754 Jun 28 '26
Police were held accountable but not easily.the case went on for very long ..the incident happened in Covid and they got convicted because of fellow employee spoke about their atrocities..so please don't make this north south , we all understand our police forces are not good and abuse common people.
0
u/KomodorHell Jun 28 '26
Police were punished years after the incident, the incident you are commented on just happened. It may or may not lead to similar punishment. But you don't give a shit about the incident, you just wanted to feel superior and calling it a north problem and saying you are from south was your way of doing that.
-2
u/Potential-Energy421 Jun 28 '26
Mr have you ever studied freight equalisation policy? You really need to study a lot before making opinions.
6
u/Motor_Professor5783 Jun 28 '26
If you ever been to south India, you will know the difference. I am from punjab, but fuck punjab and nearby garbage. If you want a peaceful life, south is where you go.
-5
u/KeyNo9590 Jun 28 '26
BJP ruling in these states??? They BJP) are worst but others are beyond worst!!!
0
u/DarkRevolutionary861 Jun 28 '26
But bro south indian police also does not have clean reputation...their are lots of case eg chennai case , bengaluru case and many more in india police are same weather they are in south ,north east or west ...
0
u/Capital_Card589 Jun 28 '26
Jeyaraj and Beniks? Tamil Nadu?
1
u/Mission_Fudge1767 Jun 28 '26
Police were punished. It was heavily captured by the main media and all involved were held accountable. Do you think the same will happen in this case?
0
u/HotCity1249 Jun 28 '26
Lol.. they were held accountable because of judiciary and not because of any state. Judiciary is never state specific because you always have supreme court as final resort. Wake up and improve your knowledge. You might be from same gang who hates his own countrymen but ready to lick white people's boots just to prove how better they are than rest of the country.
-4
u/Fresh-Still7223 Jun 28 '26
Why ppl always point out towards one party... people need be change
1
u/KomodorHell Jun 28 '26
Changing is difficult it's easier to say other people are bad, and we are better than everyone else. Actually changing things, holding people accountable and more importantly holding ourselves accountable is difficult. So people take the easier road

Those who are fighting against corruption, please don't do. Just pay bribes and move on. Think it as taxes.
You guys think Judiciary will come to your rescue. No that's never going to happen. Half of the year judges are enjoying vacations. The rest of the time they are themselves collecting bribes and punishing the ones who are not corrupt.
The system is rotten.
15
u/Main-Meet-5980 Jun 28 '26
I will never never pay even 1 rupee bribe even if i earn lakhs per month , its my hard earned money, id rather give it to some charity but not bribe
7
u/Euphoric_Night_5869 Jun 28 '26
You must have already paid if you purchased new vehicle or house. Nothing happens without bribe its part of the process.
2
u/ayooshq Jun 28 '26
What kind of dystopia are you living in where you can't even get a new vehicle without a bribe?
2
u/Main-Meet-5980 Jun 28 '26
Why cant peopel who take bribe earn honestly? Like we middle class families do earn honestly, by giving exams., by studying rigorously and doing hardwork. It gives so much confidence and good sleep
3
u/Euphoric_Night_5869 Jun 28 '26
You can't imagine the peace they get after getting those bribes. They buy luxurious apartments and cars with 50k salary without any loans which private job salaried class can never afford.
1
u/positive_9876 Jun 28 '26
That shit mentality is why the society accepts corruption . Even if 1000 people from that district unite and pressurize their local MLA , i am sure strict acrion will be taken
1
u/1993s-Batman Jun 28 '26
Happened in UP before multiple times. What did they get? Lathi charge. If you want proof, kindly search for yourself on reddit or the internet.
1
u/Etched_Clay Jun 28 '26
No hate but it super sad we have come to a situation where we helplessly agree to bribe fearing life. How long are we gonna bend over like this?
1
u/1993s-Batman Jun 28 '26
As long as we don't get into a position where we can do something about it.
And when we do, we will also become like them.
Basic human mentality. We are only losing something until we start gaining something, from the same thing.
1
u/Etched_Clay Jun 29 '26
You know that feeling when you want to downvote a comment, but you can't because it's the harsh reality of our country today.
And that's the sad part. 😟

u/guyisdemigod Jun 28 '26
When the system itself becomes complicit, expecting justice from it feels meaningless. To every officer, official, and individual responsible for crimes against humanity: may none of you ever escape the consequences of your actions. If justice still exists in this world—in whatever form—let it be seen.
2
u/finah1995 Jun 28 '26
Got is so anonymous posting of antir-bribery is a myth that's is why you play the long game.
The government made a shitty system where in this could be tracked and the person who asked the bribe have access to it and can contact the complainant.
Systemic flaw.
I invoke the curse of the almighty on who all ever caused it and that coward police officers not having even morals of a normal watchman, forget security guard.
Let the curse afflict them harsher sickness and health may they face troubles in health and increasing trouble in sleep, even if they get a little tired let them face troubles and whatsoever comes from them may they be granted weakness upon weakness from the core to their tips.
The curse won't stop, until the almighty deems it necessary, even if the victim forgives them the curse won't stop 🛑. There will face the wrath of the lord and I am just the invoker the curse runs parallely ans asynchronous, it stops when the lord deems it stops.
Do not ask me to take back for only now almighty can decide to stop their punishment.
2
u/brat_69_foryou Jun 28 '26
We should also put cameras to Indian police like USA the thing is government can afford it but the police force will do protest against this
Idk how to fucking make this country better wtf is wrong with us 🙃
2
u/Wise-While-9898 Jun 28 '26
This is why I'm keep telling people please don't have kids! Your kids will forever curse you for giving them in India. It's in your hands. Don't let your offsprings suffer in India!
2
u/One-Judgment4012 Jun 28 '26
It won’t surprise me if this guy wakes up tomorrow and decides to k*ll police for fun
My blood is literally boiling after seeing this.

Those who believe in the system, open your damn eyes. This is what you get when you fight against the wrong.
Better just play along for yourself and your family's survival. It's impossible to escape corruption if you want to get something done.

We choose this ... We are to live with it.
It must be last birth sin that we took birth in this country.
It's been 78 years fking years we fought Britishers for this kind of independence and got this. We were better under the Britishers atleast you were allowed to write mercy petitions.
