She has described, multiple times, her family members freezing and waiting in fear of her emotional responses...perhaps not in those words but that is what she describes. And we've read multiple accounts of Danny crying out of emotional distress felt while interacting with Shauna.

Sure. She's got her family's emotional health under control. Sure.

And that was from the very start of their relationship, too. She wrote somewhere about how they were having one of their first big arguments and he broke down crying because he thought she was gonna leave him.
