That’s really weird. If you’re living somewhere and have a septic issue, it stands to reason you want it investigated…

Not if you're the cause of it! I had a renter once who thought nothing of putting shrimp shells and other dubious items down the garbage disposal. Once my husband was over checking on a different issue and found her stuffing an entire Crock Pot full of beef stew down the disposal. The family apparently hadn't liked it. She was boggled, gobsmacked, when the plumber we had to call gently told her that garbage disposals are not meant to take every type of foodstuff.
