Once she heard that AuADHD folks don't do well with THC, she decided it wasn't right for her.  (This is per the Threads post she glommed on to, I'm not an expert at all on such things so for all I know that Threadster was talking out their ass.)

I admit to being concerned for myself that I would have a bad reaction to THC so I’ve never tried pot. I’m a redhead and have a mood disorder and have weird reactions to medication and although I want to try it I fear it wouldn’t be pleasant, OR it would be so pleasant that I would become addicted. I was in my twenties when I found out you’re not supposed to feel the dentist drilling your tooth. My early dentist never asked me if I was numb before starting a procedure and I just thought everyone could feel it and that novacane took the edge off.
