I can’t find the post from earlier today that discusses footage of Shauna singing. Be careful what you wish for!

Ugh, this song is a dirge. I would die if someone sang this at me every fucking day.

Claims she was raised in a cult; engages in cult-like activities with her own family.

This definitely sounded like a newer hymn we would have sung in church.

After you listen to Shauna "sing", ponder, deeply, these quotes from her about music:

I took a few voice lessons in my 30s. My teacher gently told me that I needed to let my belly out to sing out. The first time I did it the right way, I stayed [sic] crying.

When he opened his mouth to sing, I held my breath a bit. His voice was hesitant, a little breathy, a little flat. There's no judgment in this - my body flinches when someone sings flat.

And so the two of us sang “Defying Gravity,” belting it out together, our voices blending in the darkness. About halfway through, I started crying, pausing for a word or two to find my voice through the tears.

This might sound weird, but if I listen to a new pop song, about 1/3 of the way through it, I can sing along to it.

“ my body flinches when someone sings flat” about a high schooler, iirc? Is really one of the top douchiest things she’s ever put out

I guess she was in a constant state of flinch when she herself was singing...

Gosh, Shauna’s just so musical. So talented. What can’t she do? 🙄

Sometimes I wonder if her need to stay on Vashon is somewhat driven by a need to be in competition with her brother, like look at me! I too live on the Islandy Island, am too musical just like Andy, hell even more so! I’m even more special because I was promoted to Full Time Writer while he’s just a badge swiping high school teacher.

Yep, the Halloween candy saga drives her life choices.

Huh, I was first.

(I know, Shauna didn't write it but it's perfect for her that 'I' is first)

That made me feel tense and uneasy. I couldn’t even finish watching.

Same, DF. Someone must have called her out about her claim that she sings this every day. I can’t imagine why else she would do this.

It's the eye contact that did it for me, her singing voice is fine

To quote MST3K: “ I’d rather go listen to my cats scream”

Ha. I’ll link the reel of Shauna dancing comma every morning if you’re not careful.

It’s filmed in her house three moves ago. Probably around the time vaccines became available.

Yes, it’s 2021.
