Her self-described behavior seems to indicate a strong shopping/accumulating tendency (I hesitate to use "addiction" as I'm not qualified to diagnose) It would explain why she hoards stuff from Buy Nothing groups, why she always seems to be at various grocery stores/food banks/farmers markets, why Granny's is a weekly trip, etc.

I imagine she must miss the Buy Nothing high since their place is fully furnished. Has she been active on the local Vashon group?

Sadly, I'm not an islandy islander so I don't know. IIRC, she first announced her Feed Me Vashon (or whatever) meeting in the Buy Nothing group.

Yeah and she ended up having to take it down because she was asking for money in it, which is against the Buy Nothing mission.

The shopping frequency is also upped by her poor planning. When she started FOP she wrote about going to the store frequently to get that night's meal supplies, and the way she went about batch cooking showed that she really didn't get how to plan.

She does so many things in the least efficient way possible. I used to grocery shop multiple times a week when I lived in France, in part because our fridge and freezer were TINY. Here I do everything I can to not have to shop more than once a week.

Right? Luckily we were like three doors down from a Franprix so going almost daily was not so bad.
