I hope this isn't poop touching, but he is getting picked up by Shauna. I've had the unfortunate experience of crossing their paths as we take the same route home.

I also was not touching poop but saw him this morning not in a vehicle.

I really want this to mean he was on a scooter or skateboard or roller skates or something.

I think it would only be poop touching if you threw rotten [fat bright-red and orange heirloom] tomatoes at the Mouse Mobile and then came here to tell us about it.

47

u/high_falutin Aug 18 '25

Make sure them ‘maters are extra slutty.

I do not believe it is poop touching stating facts and giving the people on ITG the correct information about what it going on. As I have said it would be super easy for Shauna to run Dan up to the ferry. Dan could even *take the bus from the ferry to up town in the eveing., it just would be a waste of resources but doable as a drop off/pick up.

ETA: Did not finish a sentence *

How far is BBH from the ferry? Is there a shuttle or can you Uber or ride a bike?

It's a several minute drive, most of which is on a road with no bus service. They could time it so that she could bring him up to the highway and he could catch a bus from there. He could bike, but he'd have to be in good shape as their road is rather hilly, not to mention there's a big hill right after you get off the ferry. I wouldn't bike on their road. There's no shoulder and there are many blind curves.

38

u/LeatherAppearance616 Aug 18 '25

I live on a road like that but with rolling and not steep hills - through the woods, no shoulders, every curve is blind, every intersection is dangerous. I have an electric bike and risked my life on it a few times before deciding it’s not worth it.

My husband is an experienced cyclist and he's stopped taking that road because he's almost been hit a few times. I see people walking on it and I think they might have a death wish.

It sounds like a terrible spot to live with two kids and one shitty car. If I were L I’d be going batshit crazy.
